I feel that we should not look to what we see in World, but wait on God's judgement, In Genesis 3:8 we read "the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God".Are our hearts listening to God, or other things? God loves us and will set His path for us to follow. He is the Guide and will set pure Love in your heart that follows His truth.

I have learned that when God is in our lives, HE transforms us to be the "right" man/woman that HE desires us to be. People marry and divorce, does that mean they weren't "right" for each other? I know people who wanted to marry everyone they have dated, but didn't at that time. An attraction doesn't make a person the "right" one. Seek God first and foremost. Become the person you want God to bring into "your" life.

There is a Mr. and Mrs. Right out there for everyone. It just takes the mr. or miss. right to see that. And in time God will show us who that is. But it will be when He thinks we are ready. But we have to be patient.

Yes there can be a Mr. Right or Ms. Right!
YOU are that person! When looking for a
life partner and you begin courting and then
marry, always ask Christ to help YOU to be
Mr./Mrs. Right seeking all the ways pos-
sible to make your partner happy!

Mr or mrs right depends on how you view it what makes one perfect is finding someone who completes you and makes you safe, brings the best out of you, loves and appreciates you for who you are.Be open and honest about yourself involve the other person in your life and see where it goes if you feel you can live with IT then right but above all trust God to direct your steps and give you wisdom to see with the eyes of God and God knows the end before the begining who else is better to trust than God in this issue!

Unequally yoked....i personally think that may mean one partner saved the other not ...or...one saved and daily wanting to get closer to God, the partner saved but not as committed to God as the partner. There will be problems....and when the stronger partner can see what is happening in the other....thats when the stronger will carry the load. (for better for worse)

Pardoned 2 ... Yes

I think probably over a long marriage the growth will be different anyway ... that means that in time one will be more developed spiritually than the other.

And one may be more developed in other ways. We have to accept that. But both should love Christ to start with.

Being attracted to each other helps too...lol, but my point is this, in any relationship...it's important to know where each other is spiritually and where you want God to take it. Both have to agree. But as often happens...one will outgrow the other and then there are problems.

Pardoned 2 ... I think you have just put down a theological sound-bite ... or a cliche.

I know a lot of unmarried ladies who are on the same spiritual level as me, and we are all trint ot raise that level anyway.

But that does not mean that all of them are Mrs Right for me (in fact none of them are).

I have several man claiming to be MR.right for me. However I can see the marraige wouldn't last beyond the alter. As long as we let CHRIST be the center of the ralationship for bothwe become MR.RIGHT and MRS.RIGHT.

Some people settle for Mr. RIGHT NOW, when the REAL Mr. Right awaits you. Give yourself fully to the Lord and HE will reveal in time if and when you will have a 'Mr.Right'
(Becky, you flirt you!) I have to agree though, Alan, you are dear man, gentle and mannerly, and you love the Lord. God bless you brother.

Sure we need Jesus to make us right, but for us to be right as in Mr. and Mrs. right that would depend on us. Mr. And Mrs. right is like the saying of beauty, It lays in the eye of the beholder. Who you may think is Mr. Right, I might not think he is. I hope that makes sence.

When you find that person that wants to stay on the same spiritual maturity level as yourself.....then you'll find Mr. or Mrs. Right.
---Pardoned2 on 4/3/05

Make sure you are Mr or Mrs Right before you seek a mate. Maybe you have not found someone because you are not all You need to be for them. Prepare your heart and life first. not you Alan, you are near perfect as it is! SMILE!

Mr & Mrs Right are usually terms used for the right person for you to marry.

There are millions who are right with/in Christ, but that does not mean that they could all marry any one of those of the opposite sex.

There are many Mrs Right in Christ who would not be Mrs Right for me.

And there is one lady, whom I thought was Mrs Right for me, who says I am Mr Right in Christ, but not Mr Right for her.
