Getting younger, you need revelation,2Cor.5:17 1John4:17 Romans 6:4-5-6 To many people Judge the word of God by how they feel or look , big mistake,What He says I have ,I have, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, believe it before you see it. If you want to see it.Getting old and sickness is under curse, that was broken.Man was never suppose to die or get old.

Come on guys you are basing word of God on your on beliefs, why is it hard for you to believe the truth.Colossians2:9-10 2Corinthians5:17 Its to hard to believe thats sad. Old things are passed away , make a list of the old things, dont base it on what you see in mirror.Philemon1:6 Im not going to call him a lie anymore,He said it I believe it that settles it .Not by what I see, or feel.

steve, are you getting older? Are you going to live in your body today forever, in the same age you were when you got saved? So if you were saved at 15, you will remain 15 forever?

To Whosoever Has An Ear To Hear?

YES b/c : The First man Adam was sown a Living Soul and Christ, who came in the form of man/Adam, was made a Quickening Spirit and is why He's call the Last Adam.

That which is sown is not quickened, except it die and we sow not the body that shall be, but bare grain, that it may chance of wheat.

Christ is the 'Wheat' raised up from the bare grain of man/Adam. Jesus is God's Only Begotten Son & through Him, the Firstborn among many Brethren which shall rise-up in the Harvest !!

Christ Jesus came to Reign in Salvation that we through Him shall be Saved, where we're free from the Law of sin & death b/c sin is no longer imputed or abounds where there is No Law. Rom.5:12-13,19-20

Romans6 REad and believe what it is saying. When Jesus died on cross he restored everything,in back to where we was before sin ,caused all curses on us,to be canceled. So when sin comes say no,you dont have to,sickness comes,no,getting old is part of the curse, the curse has no power over those who believe. If you dont believe the word of God then you wont get it.
---steve on 10/21/09

When Jesus died on cross he destroyed all the things that came through adams sin.Think about it sin nature sickness death ect....Sin has no power, over you refuse it when it comes,Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world

Romans 5:18 - Therefore, as through one mans (Adam) offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Mans (Jesus Christ) righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

Adam was made in the figure of Christ. Gen 1:26, Rom 5:14, Rom 4:17, Rev 13:8. In Genesis 1:26 ("in our image") the Spirit of God announced He was coming as a person. "Calling those things which be not as though they were" (Rom 4:17). In (Rev 13:8) Jesus is called the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. All this was in the mind and plan of the Spirit (Hebrews 4:3b) ...works were finished from the foundation of the world. Hebrews 2:*14-18. Oh, what a Saviour!

Jesus is called the second Adam because He is the only one who is in the image of God like Adam.We do not have the option of not sinning, we sin because we are sinners, not sinners because we sin. We are born in the image of Adam, but have the option of being in the image of Christ. Jesus like Adam came straight from the hand of God and in His image.Jesus also had the option to sin or not He chose not to and in so doing saved all mankind, but it is up to us to accept the gift.

Sister Cathy, I believe I have answered that question on another one. "Why didn't God kill Satan" you will see the significance between Christ and Adam. Hope it will help,
---Lupe2618 on 6/15/05

Christ being refered to as the second Adam brings out how God has worked in all things from then until now looking at the spiritual towards the natural. Adam had the greater sin and was not decieved but chose death to be with his wife, like Christ chose death to save his wife (the church) All sinned in Adam and all have the responcibility to be save in christ, how ever responcibility does not mean ability as no one comes to the father unless He draws them.
---kirk on 4/29/05

Jesus is also called the son of men. Seed from the first men vessel Adam befor sinning he was connected with the father, after the fall no men did. When Jesus came He was again the only one connected with the father in Spirit

PART ONE:

Emcee,
I find your question a little confusing. 2 Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" This includes Paul's writings.

Jesus has many Titles.
Bread of life,
Lamb of God,
Light of the world,
Lilly of the Valley,
Lion of Judah,
Rose of Sharon,
the Vine etc.

PART TWO:

Yet, he is not bread, a sheep, light, a plant or flower. These things are descriptions of who he is to us. They are titles. So it is with the designation Second Adam. This does not mean He is a reincarnation of the first man. It is a reference to the fact that as with the original Adam, the whole human race was affected by his actions. It speaks to the fact that what Adam started in Eden, Jesus finished at Calvary.
---Bruce5656 on 4/14/05

PART THREE:

This is what Paul meant when he said in: 1 Corinthians 15:45-47,

"The first man Adam was made a living soul;
the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural;
and afterward that which is spiritual.

The first man is of the earth, earthy:
the second man is the Lord from heaven."
---Bruce5656 on 4/14/05

Nowhere can I find where Jesus Christ was called the last or final Adam, but there is a reference to Adam being 'the figure of him that was to come.'(Rom 5:14) Adam was a created man which may mean Jesus Christ was not created. We know that Jesus Christ was the only-begotten son of God and the reason we say he was God is that 'the Word was God' and 'the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.' But in John 1:18 it says, 'No man hath seen God at any time; the only-begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.'
---gregg on 4/14/05

Bruce with due respect are you telling me that Pauls words in Romans & Corinthians do overide the words of Jesus himself so Pauls deduction & transalation was correct & those of God himself is wrong.Jesus was God.I understand the co-relation you are indicating in contast to different eras.I think Matthew Gospel is infallible. There was no second Adam.Adam means of the earth.

He was called the last Adam because the promise to Abraham and his seed was accomplished at the ressurection, from there on God creates a new mankind. No more adams but sons/daughters of God
---Carmen on 4/13/05

PART ONE:

Emcee,

Adam is spoken of as a type or pattern of Christ.
Romans 5:14, "Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come." Read all of Romans 5: 14-21 and see the similarities and contrasts between Adam and Christ
---Bruce5656 on 4/13/05

PART TWO:

Paul expands on this in I Cor.
1 Corinthians 15:45-47, "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven."

This is where the expression "second Adam" comes from. This does not mean a "reincarnation of Adam". But Paul certainly assigns the name of Adam to Christ as a title.

1st cliff, As the Apocalypse draws closer and closer it will be very evident to all the inhabitants that there are only 2 races on the earth, sinners, and well-doers; or as Jesus well said, the Tares bearing the mark of the Beast and the Wheat bearing the mark of Christ, or the good trees which are only able to produce good fruit, and the evil trees which are only able to produce evil fruit.

Please Justify your statement with Biblical Reference to a second ADAM Jesus asked Peter who do you say I am & Peter replied You are the Messiah The son of the living GOD.Jesus Replied Blessed are you Simon son of Jonah for flesh & blood has not revealed this to you but my Father who is in Heaven
Read it in Matthew Ch 16v13 -20the declaration of Jesus's successor----NO SECOND ADAM.
---Emcee on 4/12/05

FF - that is such a great answer, I think it's perfect!
---Nanci on 4/12/05

FF: We will always be able to sin, because we will always have "free will", You're talking "robots" which we will never be!Christ took away Adamic sin, the one that we inherited, that causes us to age and die. We will have opportunity to live forever, but we will never be "forced".

The Adams, were the two main focal points of history. What those two men did, affect all of humanity in a way that nothing else compares to. The first Adam introduced sin and it's consequences to the human race. The second "Adam", Christ, was the redemption of the human race and the cure for the first Adam's sin. 1 Corinthians 15:22, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
---Bruce5656 on 4/12/05

But why do they call him the last Adam?
---Cathy on 4/12/05

The first Adam was created perfect but spoiled that perfection by sinning. The last Adam (Jesus) came to take upon Himself all the sin of the world so that we will never need to be punished for our sins (providing we accept His gift of dying in our place). When we go to be with God and inhabit the New Earth all will be perfect again just as God intended because there will be no sin.
