Beef stew
lg pkg. cubed beef
1 teaspoon of salt ( or according to your taste buds)
1 tablespoon blk.pepper
2 small cans tomatoe sauce
1 can tomatoe paste
1/2 (or amnt you like) cayun pepper
2to3 cubes beef bullion
small bg 14 oz crushed crawfish
1/2 cup of palm oil,( or amnt you like)

tenderize beef and place into pot of water, add salt, blk. pepper, let cook tell beef is just about done. add the rest of the ingredients, let simmer. Goes well with rice.

I got this from a recipie swap. It's delicious.

Broccoli Medley:

1 large head of broccli, cut stalks and flowerettes into 1 inch pieces
2 strips crisp bacon, large crumbled pieces
1/2 cup raisins
1 stalk of celery, cut into half inch pieces
1 medium red onion, cut into half inch pieces
medium sized jar mazaretti cole slaw dressing

Mix vegetables, bacon, and raisins in a large bowl toss lightly, adding dressing until well covered, cover and chill.

This is my recipe for chicken and dumplings:

Buy a plumb boiling chicken
Buy a 5 lb. bag of flour

Wrap carefully in the grocery bag, drive that bag over to my mother's home, and let her cook it. She makes great chicken and dumplings. Been working for 40 years for me.

Taco Casserole 1 0r 2 pounds of lean ground beef
2 packages of taco seasoning, 1 can of biscuits 0r a package of corn tortillas
1 can rotel tomatoes
1 jar picante sauce 1 onion garlic powder, (to taste)1 can of ranch style beans (optional) 8oz bag shredded cheedar, and mozarella cheese. Brown ground beef with onion until done. Drain, Layer a baking dish or pan with the biscuits, or if you use corn tortillas put a cup of oil in a skillet, get it hot, and fry tortillas for

Bethie, I'm not an expert but you may need to soak the beans in water for a day or so before backing them.

Alternatively, do what I do, buy them in cans :))

If anyone has a really easy recipe for baked beans it would be appreciated. My beans never soften no matter how long i soak 'em for, you could use them for bullets.
