As I have stated before, the Kingdom of God is within the believer, but the Kingdom of Heaven has not yet been established yet on this Earth and will not be until Christ returns at the end of the trib. The Kingdom of Heaven is of the Kingdom of God,but not the same. The Kingdom of God is the Spiritual realm while the Kingdom of Heaven is the Earthly Realm that is yet to be established.I can give more info on this and establish this with scripture.

The Kingdom of our Father is already established on earth.

The kingdom of God is everywhere there are people ruled by God. it is here today and will be till the end of ages. That is the Gospel message Jesus Preached, the Kingdom of God is at Hand, meaning it is here now.
---Jared on 4/28/07|
Try a bible study on the word kingdom of God. You should discover that the kingdom of God was before the world began, is, and evermore shall be. And Protestants and Baptists often close the Lord's Prayer with -
"For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory, forever and ever Amen.
---Barbara67 on 4/28/07|
Rebecca D, we do see a change in people! If you aren't seeing a change in people after they accept Jesus then something is missing in your lives. And when something is at hand it means just what it says, at hand, or...at your hand, within reach, touchable. So you explained what that meant and now explain what you believe ..is within you means too please?
---lisa on 6/11/05|
I beieve it's a case of "Already here but not yet here."
Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is within you. If they say, "Go to this secret place" or "Look! HERE it is" or "Look over there", don't listen. My Kingdom is NOT of this world."
So--I would say that while the Kingdom has been slowly slipping in for the last 2,000 years (the seed that grows secretly), the Kingdom in its fullness and perfection is revealed when Christ returns.

When Jesus said the Kingdom of God is at hand...he meant just what he said...It was in front of all who saw him.
He came here to Satan's hell to establish his Kingdom...and through the Holy Spirit..we can inherit it..once we Obey every Commandmant of God with Love for each other..no matter or differences..this is the fulfillment of all the commandments of God.
Love is the key to righteous living and a chance for eternal life..breaking the Curse of Satan forever.
---Michelle on 5/31/05|
Only one of those verses say that the Kingdom of God is withing you. When it says that the Kingdom of God is at hand, to me it means that we are getting closer. The kingdome doesn't dwell on earth, if it did, then we would see a change in people.
---Rebecca_D on 5/23/05|
Eloy/Rebecca D, I disagree with you. The scriptures that verify what I say are in Luke 17v21, Matt 3v2, 10v7, 2v28, Mk 1v5 and 12v34 and some.Basically they all confirm Jesus saying, "the Kingdom is within you, is close at hand, and is near" therefore it's impossible if you have Jesus in you, to not have the kingdom in you. To not have the kingdom within you is to not be born again. Therefore, as long as born again christians walk the earth, the kingdom dwells on earth as it is in heaven!! :)

lisa, the kingdom of God, heaven, the city of God, the New Jerusalem, the Mount of God, the Holy Hill, the kingdom of heaven, and God's dwelling place are all used interchangeably in scripture. For the born-again it begins in the heart, then after this life on earth we who are saved will go on and live in the kingdom of God, which is heaven.
---Eloy on 5/17/05|
Jesus says that his Kingdom isn't of this world. Jn 18:36. the Kingdom of God isn't on earth. the Kingdom of God is God's dwelling place. If the kingdom of God is on the earth now, boy we sure did miss it all.
---Rebecca_D on 5/16/05|
the poster cites "Is the Kingdom of God present in this present time on earth? Then the answer is yes, If the poster read "Is heaven present on earth" I would say no. To me the poster makes it clear they are asking about the Kingdom of God (which Jesus plainly cites is within us) and heaven, which is indeed a literal place where God sits on His throne, Jesus as His right hand and the angels and elders worship Him 24/7.

Who is on the Lord's side?
Who will serve the King?
Who will be his helpers,
Other lives to bring? - (into God's kingdom)
Who will leave the world's side?
Who will face the foe?
Who is on the Lord's side? Who for Him will go?
By Thy call of mercy,
By Thy grace divine,
We are on the Lord's side - Saviour we are Thine!

Another/way/to/understand kingdom of God, is to understand a real war. The kingdom-of-darkness(the devil and his demons/angels) is in opposition to the kingdom of Light(God and his angels).
Satan has power over death
Satan is doomed by the power of the Cross. CHRIST though HIS own death/and/resurrection has triumphed over the devil.
God calls men everywhere to voluntarily enlist in the army of God under the rule of the King of kings. Enlistment - Matthew 18:3 and John 3.
---Barbara67 on 5/16/05|
The kingdom of God is the sphere of God's rule - Psalm 22:28, 145:13, Daniel 4:25, Luke 1:52; Romans 13;1,2 - where the king is there is a kingdom. The kingdom of God was, is and always shall be. The Lord's prayer closes with, "For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen."
The Kingdom of Heaven is always the Kingdom of God but the Kingdom of God is not limited to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Entrance into the Kingdom of God is by new birth - Matthew 18:3, John 3:5
---Barbara67 on 5/16/05|
Let's see if I can answer this question correctly. The answer is NO. Heaven and earth will pass away, but the Kingdom of God is within you. It is you who is present on this earth.
---gregg4933 on 5/15/05|
Pierre, the Lake of Fire is not just a figure of speech. Please see II Peter 3:10-13.
---Eloy on 5/15/05|
May I suggest that the Bible does not talk about HELL as a literal place but rather a CONDITION= to be lost for ever, having rejected the truth and realizing IT IS TOO LATE! That will be hell!
---Pierr7958 on 5/15/05|
lisa, It depends on the context of what the poster is asking, we both are correct in applying the kingdom of God. When we accept Christ into our heart and life then his kingdom comes and dwells within us. But i gathered that the poster instead was asking about the literal place of heaven, which is not earth. The Bible teaches that there are three literal places that a person may exist: in heaven, or earth, or hell.
---Eloy on 5/15/05|
I hope not. I pray that this earth is not the Kingdom of God.
---sue on 5/14/05|
Eloy, you are missing the point entirely. We are not saying the Kingdom of heaven is on earth we are saying its within us and we are on earth, so the kingdom of heaven is in contained vessels, vessels of gold, clay and jars, that is us, the believers. This is scriptural so why do you disagree ?
---lisa on 5/14/05|
lisa, i have. i maintain my position. The Kingdom of God is heaven, and heaven is not earth, though some common religions wrongly teach that heaven is here on earth.
---Eloy on 5/14/05|
Read Col Chpt 1: 12, 13. We are with Him, seated with Him in heavenly places.
---Linda_&_Bill on 5/14/05|
Eloy, she didnt ask about the second coming. There is a HUGE difference between Jesus second coming and the kingdom of God being within us who are on earth. Be sure to read things carefully.
---lisa on 5/14/05|
No, the Second Coming has not happened yet. "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be handed over to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from herefrom." John 18:36.
---Eloy on 5/13/05|
Jesus said, the Kingdom of Heaven is within you, therefore, there is heaven on earth now. WOW! If christians meditated on and truly believed this, they would live differently,I'm sure. No christians, no heaven on earth. When christians are raptured there will be hell on earth as hell is the absence of God. Awesome thought isn't it. Christ in you, the hope of glory! Think about it, Christ is the Kingdom, Christ in us. HEAVEN ON EARTH.
---lisa on 5/13/05|
Dear Bloggers: Thanks for trying to answer this question. I have been pondering and studying this question for some time in Scriptures, Hulman's Bible Dictionary, Strong's Concordance, talking to clergy etc. I'm still not satisfied. I think I'm trying too hard. I'll just leave it in the Father's Hands since He knows more than any of us. Bless each of you!
---Elsie on 5/13/05|
Yes, Jesus several times told people to repent because the kingdom of GOD is at hand!
---ruben on 5/13/05|
I think so Elsie. The presence of the Holy Spirit throughout the earth signifies that...doesn't it?
He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables. ." Mark 4:11 If I am in error, please forgive me.
---CarolT on 5/13/05|
It depends on your definition of "Kingdom of God". In the bible it is use to describe the MESSAGE of salvation (Mark 1:14), the CONDITION of the saved (Rom 14:17)and the FUTURE HOME of the saved (Mark 14:25).
---Bruce5656 on 5/13/05|
I am not sure what answer you are looking for but I am going to say NO! If what we have now were all he could offer us we would be in bad shape! The Bible tells us that he is going to make a NEW earth and a NEW heaven, with all that is sin-related gone for ever! I hope to see you there!
---Pierr7958 on 5/13/05|
it will be present when Christ returns. If you notice when Satan was tempting Jesus in the wildreness he offered to hand him his kingdoms, this Earth, so right now until Christ returns& bounds up Satan we are still living in Satans world, but Jesus' followers are protected by God.
