did the angels in the form of men that appeared to Abram have wings? did the two angels in the form of men that appeared to Lot have wings? Did the angel in the form of man outside Christs' tomb have wings ? I believe you will not find any angels with wings or in the form of women. |

Since the bible was written over who knows how many hundreds years by how many different people. No one can answer these and many other questions. Angles are part of these stories. As far as I'm concerned these are just more stories. |

Yes, and Cherubims are angels. However, rarely are they described as having wings in the bible. Pictures of angels with wings are without bases. Angels are spiritual-beings, created by God. Their main jobs is serving God. Angels are superior in nature compare to man's nature---have superhuman power and knowledge. And will help excute judgment [Matt. 13:41-43,49-50]. |

cherabim and seraphim are not angels. there are different types of spiritual beings cherabim are not angles angels are not seraphim and seraphim are not cherabim, non e of them are god and we are none of them either. there is a reason why they have different names. angel is not a generice term, you people who are calling cherabs and seraphs angels are jehovas witnesses im sure, just enough knowledge to open your mouths about something you dont know anything about. there is never any scripture in the bible saying angels have wings. yes they fly, they are spirtual beings ofcourse they can fly, why would they need wings? |

The "creatures" with wings were cherubim, not angels. The Bible calls them "creatures". They were representative of a creature that could transport between Heaven and Earth but were not angels. Angels resemble humans as they were created in the image of God, just as humans were! People don't have wings, therefore angels can't have wings! |

Rev 4:8 and Rev 14:6 tell something about angels. 4:8 tells of 4 creatures with 6 wings. 14:6 an angel flying to spread salvation to the world. So in other words, angel can have wings and no wings. Anyway, God instructed Moses to make two angels with wings to cover the Ark. See the records how Jesus was being raised to heaven without wings. Check Isa 6:2 angel with wings again. It apparently is dependent upon God the creator. We will be wingless when we are in heaven for eternity. |

Cherubims and Seraphims are heavenly beings. They have wings. Angles are sometimes in white and shining clothes. I don't know if Cherubims and Seraphims are kinds of angels. There is the archangel. We are not to worship angels. |
