Who Goes To Heaven
We cannot know since we do not truly know the condition of their heart.
But we can look to see if they showed the fruits of the Spirit and love others.
That should give us a good idea.
Just doing some rituals does not show a person is saved. The Pharisees were great at rituals but did not love others.

Dr Rich, I feel the Holy SPirit telling me to speak to you, are you involved in any type of divination or anything like that? You were guessing dates on the other blog, which is very occult, like astrology... and now you say Christ did not die for our sake...something is wrong, and I feel it could be demonic..

in the old testament dr rich if you read Isaiah, it most certainly says "he took up our infirmities"
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities,
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53

Did Jesus die to PAY for our sins? IF Jesus was the Passover Lamb (and He said He was), then Jesus did NOT have any sins placed upon Him as Paul, Luke and the writer of Hebrews state. Before responding to this, do your own research in the old testament and you will find that the Passover Lamb NEVER had any sins placed upon it. Therefore, Jesus' death only made it possible for YOU to become sanctified yourself! (John 17) He then did NOT die for anyone's sin!

Jana; why should a person worry about ones salvation? Because we don't want anyone to go to hell. If we have done our part by witnessing then it is up to them, but we still should continue to talk to them and not give up. I worry about the ones I have witnessed to, yes I may have planted a seed, and it may be up to them, but I don't want anyone to go to hell. That is why I worry.

why do you worry about whether they are saved or not..if you have already witnessed to them then its up to them...you never know, they may surprise you when or if you get to heaven ...we will only meet each other if we have accepted Christ in our lives and live the way He wants us to live..
---jana on 8/24/06|
I really think we all are going to be surprised who does and does not go to heaven. Only one God truelly know what a man's heart is. There are many every year who trust Christ as their saviour, but are led astray be false or corrupted doctrine. Just like the example Christ used about the sowing the seeds. All we really can do is hope and wait to see.

we can't really know unless we're there.if she or he accept Jesus as Lord and savior she'll be in heaven.

You can't be really sure.. because the fact is that if a person dies without that assurance of either:
Salvation/eternal life, then you truelly know that hell is where they are going. The person should be sure of themselves, and of their own soul. Its not up to you to figure out if they are going to heaven or not, but up to them.
Heb 9:27.. If a person dies without Jesus in their hearts, then they shall go to hell, it's just simple.
Believe in the Lord Jesus (Acts 11vs:17)

Because the bible says that there will be no weeping, pain etc. in Heaven I do not believe that we will be aware of those who are missing. That knowledge would cause us pain, grief and weeping FOR EVER and that would hardly be heaven. I'm sure we'll recognise those who are there but I believe that God, out of His love for us, will erase the lost from our memories.

If you get there!!!!

That is between God and the deceased. All we can do is pray for them while they are still with us and be a witness to them.
Perhaps after we are in heaven we may see them there again and then we will know.
---Marla on 6/13/05|
Do you blieve that Jesus died on the cross to pray for your sins, and He rose from the dead 3 days later? Have you excepted Him as you saviour? If you have, you are saved. If you have not, you can now. Romams 3:23 6:23 5:8 10:8-10 Matthew 10:32 John 3:15-18 1Cor 15:1-4 Eph 2:8,9 1John 5:11-13

You can ask people whom the deceased had conversations with and you may find out whether they revealed that they were saved or not. Otherwise, you will have to wait until you die yourself, and then you will know if they are in heaven or if they are absent.
