My father-in-law, Melvin doesn't need any improvement. He's the finest man I'll ever know and I love him like he was my birth father. Never a cross word. He and Mom are the greatest. Ron

Happy Fathers Day to all Dads.God bless you with wisdom, stength, and love that grows more every day. Also a Billfold with an endless supply of money because no matter how old the children they may come to daddy with their hand out from time to time.

Since I posted this 2 years ago we'll just pretend that now its just an early post for THIS June! God bless you all!

Thanks Barbara, and I accept the blessings.

I don't like it when people misunderstand each other and think wrong.

Anyone who reads nvBarbara for any time knows she is a loving, kind and witty person that has the welfare of others in mind.

On certain issues she is stern but I have never seen her "bash" anyone. That is not her nature. She thinks that when someone asks a question they want a true answer.

Plus, she and her husband is loved by many here and if she needed someone "bashed" we'd do it for her.

Father's day or not I need all the improvement that I can get. That is why I encourage people to "tell me off" if they feel like it.

I didn't see any man bashing here by Barbara.

Please all of you here that DO NOT need improvement say so and sign your name.

Eloy, no, I didn't see Darlene's blog. I won't comment other than to say,it is expensive to raise kids.
Hey! I'm 9 years older than you, it would be tricky to be your Mom! Big sister suits just fine bro.
---NVBarbara on 6/20/05

nvBarb, likewise sister, peace come to you. Perhaps you have overlooked Darlene1's blog below. Case in point, i would have been honored to have you as a mother, and you would not have had any need of any bettering because you already would be the best mom to me.
---Eloy on 6/20/05

Eloy I refuse to debate you here on the Father's Day blog. I am curious how you came up with the majority seeing Dad's as money givers? That had nothing to do with any blogs I read.
My 'child' is 31, but I am still his Mom. I would covet any prayers that makes me a better Mom to him. He still calls me for advice on occasion, and I want to give him good Godly answers.
---NV_Barbara on 6/20/05

nvBarb, i read Bethies blog, and the stats are believable, but it's unfortunate that the majority of the world measure dads as only money givers.
---Eloy on 6/20/05

I am extending my warm Father's Day Greetings to all Fathers at CN Blog. With out a caring, understanding and a disciplinarian Dad, I won't be me. Congratulations to the members of your tribe: the good Fathers! Happy Fathers' Day!!!
---linda6546 on 6/19/05

Indeed Emcee, that is no easy task. I raised my son alone most of his life. He did on a couple of occasions send me a Father's day card when he was in his teens.
God bless all you Moms who have to be both parents, it can be difficult, but it is rewarding.
---NVBarbara on 6/19/05

Thank you Bruce, yes we all need to uphold each other and be in prayer for one another. God bless all our forum family.
---NVBarbara on 6/19/05

BTW bro, I prayed about what to write and God gave me what I wrote. If it makes just ONE father think and react, its worth it.

No man bashing intended Eloy. Maybe its just me, but when I had kids at home I always prayed that I would be a better mother over the next year. Read Bethie's blog.
PLEASE guys I intended no insult, we ALL have room for improvement, just a reminder.
---NVBarbara on 6/19/05

Thank you.

I don't think there are any of us who are NOT in need of some impovements or maybe even renovations! Pray for us fathers and we will pray for you mothers.
---Bruce5656 on 6/19/05

nv Barb, here's that man-bashing we were talking about earlier. It's hard to accept this as an honor, rather than a judgment. We don't hear this criticism on Mother's Day...If improvements need to be made? make this year that you become a better mother and role model?
---Eloy on 6/19/05

Thank You Barbara-- what about a special wish to single moms doing a fathers job as well Congrats !!

We were given statistics in church this morning; in cases where the children get saved, 3% result in the rest of the family coming to Jesus, where the mother gets saved, 15% result in the rest of the family getting saved, when the father gets saved, 94%reuslt in the rest of the family coming to Jesus. So thank- you to all fathers, especially those living a life committed to Christ.
