Pray For The People In London

Please pray for London after all the bomb blasts today. Many are hurt and some dead. Numbers will almost certainly rise. Please pray that those responsible will be caught but also that those hurt and those who have lost loved ones will be comforted. How much more before Christ returns?

Thank you, from the people of Britain, for your prayers.

My prayers are for the people's families in London. The world is in a time of fear. The actions of many or so terrible. Sin, in the world continues and continues. Lord have mercy on all of us. We do need His mercy so much.

Shira, we have had terrorist attacks against Americans for years. Take a look at the U.S. State Department web site for a complete list of terrorist attacks against Americans. This is nothing new.

God bless all the people in London. Praying God heals all with his mercy.
luv,

Alan, most Americans do understand that these acts of terror don't fall at the feet of Muslims in general, but to a few who have chosen a violent path. Blaming muslims in general for the attack in London or the 9-11 attacks here would be like blaming Americans in general for what a few bad apples did at Guantanimo Bay.

Thank you all so much for your concern and prayers for us here in the U.K. I think we should all hold off blaming anyone in particular at the moment. It is too early to say who did it or why. We live in a sad, fallen world. All we can say for certain is that those who did this do not know God, regardless of what they claim to believe.

Dear Alan: May God grant healing to all those who were victims of this heinous act, for peace to those who died, for those who mourn and suffer pain. So too may the Lord grant His strength, grace and mercy to face yet another challenge from those who wish to destroy us. Thank you, dear Alan, for your God-given clear vision and assessment of this terrible political situation. Indeed the evil one shall be defeated by the power of almighty God!

Alan: My prayers are with you and your fellow citizens of Britain. I totally agree with you that the attacks on Britain and the US have nothing to do with the religion of the president. That would be like saying Japan bombed Pearl Harbor because of FDR's religion.

I am reminded of what Churchill said to your people during the bombings by Hitler. "Never give up. Never surrender." Peace be with you.

What do these terrorists want anyways? What are their demands? Do they want everybody killed who isn't like them or what? just wondering.
thanx,

What I do hope, and I have said this for a long time, that outside parties ... particularly USA should apply pressure on ALL parties in the Middle East dispute to make honest and enduring efforts to accept each other, and to understand each other and each other's needs, and to work toward peaceful co-existence.
Sadly, it is not only the Palestinians who are intransigent ... the Israelis are too.

The attack on USS Cole was for the same reason.
IRA Bombers wanted the UK government to cave in the the demands for a United Ireland.
The bombers of the Madrid trains wanted Spain to pull out of Iraq ... and it was successful
These present bombers here want UK to pull out of Iraq ... I do not believe we will or should do so.

To us in the UK, terrorism is nothing new. We have lived with it for years. Dare I say it here, much of it has been sponsored by money from the USA.
It is nothing to do with the religion of any president or prime minister ... it is all to do with trying to change a government's policy by undermining the morale of the people.
9/11 was not because of a Christian President, but because they want the US to reduce US support of Israel.

So far, the death toll is said to be over 40 confirmed, but I expect it will be many more then that by the tiem all the debris has been cleared.
IUt is a tragedy, and an evil act, but it would be totally wrong to blame Muslim people generally. We have huge numbers of them in this country, and most live peaceably alongside other religions and cultures.
Please I hope you Americans will try to understand that.

This is true. I worked in a house today and the owner of the house just left for London last night. His name is Neil and his wife's name is Angela. We haven't heard word yet of their result. They are originally from there and went to join their children. If we hear nothing soon then we'll contact the State Department. Please pray for them. In any event, let's all pray for all involved in this Terrible tragedy.

Shira, you're right about President Bush. As terrible and tragic as the terrorist attacks are, I think the worst part of it is the supposedly civilized people President Bush is trying to serve who insult and criticize him. He's being persecuted by many because he's an unashamed Christian. The Bible speaks of Christians being persecuted simply because they're Christians and President Bush is a prime example of this.

Have you noticed since we have a christian president in the United States, terrorism has been raging everywhere. The muslims hate us and our christian president. I always pray for our president and the decisions he must make. I will certainly pray for England and what they have endured.

Very depressed today with thoughts of London and all the evil in our world. My prayers are with all the people there. Also with the little girl who was kiddnapped with her little brother after her family was murdered. Little girl was found, but not her brother. Horrible stuff. God give them some peace!

I have been praying for them.Terrorism has no boundries. The hate in the Extremist of the Muslim world for all who don't believe as they do is terrible. To them it is either conform or be killed.May God reach down and let justice be served ,truth unveiled, and deliverance acomplished for those who have scales on their eyes, who are blinded by hate,to never see the freedom in God's love.
