WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? God is mediator in prayer as well, is how that blog is suppose to read.

In Paul's day Gnostics had a vast system of mediators made up of angels but God declares, not so. The Virgin Mary, Joseph Smith, nor anyone else is such a mediator. He is the mediator as well....Another reason why Jesus died, to be our High Priest [Heb. 4:10, 10:19-20] Amen+

Jesus Christ Is the only mediator.

For the pope represents FALSE christianity, IS Man - made that came from here 2nd.Cor.11 v's 14 - 15.

The only Pope, whom is Jesus Christ the everlasting perfect and sinless one, fits right in the middle.

The the pope is part of the empire of false religion. Jesus accepted his Fathers' will to become a corresponding ransom for all. Bow to Jehovah's will, accept that Jesus is our reigning king, and he is not equal to Jehovah. Follow his every example. He taught us Jehovah's will, he learned directly from Jehovah in heaven. To show our love for him and Jehovah, accept all of his teachings, act on Jehovah's will, whose loving arrangement will bring eternal life, joy and peace to those who truly follow him.

To understand the concept of a mediator we can look to the book of Hebrews. According to the old covenant there was a High Priest who officiated before God on behalf of the people. The writer of Hebrews, in fact the whole of Hebrews, confronts the issue of the office of High Priest. The writer is addressing the fact that Jesus has fulfilled the office of High Priest, Once for all, Heb. 9:26, 10:12. He is now at the right hand of God interceding (mediating) on our behalf, Heb.4:14-16, 7:23-25.

That is a no-brainer.Only one God created us
Only one God is father of all,and there is
only one GODHEAD.And concerning Christ as mediator. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must
be saved.

Correction Dr.rich.His Godhead does not
refer to the Catholic trinty, under which
all three are named as gods. That is a
misconception of thought.
---Jack_8773 on 1/2/08

Interesting question! However the real question is this: Did Paul believe Jesus was just a man and not one of the Godhead? Rom.1:3,4 gives us the real answer. Yes, Paul said that Jesus was given the name "Son of God" after His reserection and that Jesus was a human descendent of King David. It is also interesting that Paul NEVER called Jesus "God". He did call Him "Lord" but that is just a title. But Jesus said He was before Abraham, so who do YOU believe? Jesus did not lie!

The way that he fits in is exactly the same way that you and I fit in to this. He, just like the rest of us, can go to God via the ONLY mediator between God and man, that is Jesus.

The Pope is a man just like any other church leader. 1Corinthians 1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
Christ is the head of the church. Ephesians 5:23,24
---Ulrika on 5/27/07

I think it is pretty clear. the Pope has no place here. He is not the mediator between God and man. Jesus Christ and he alone is.

Is there any evidence in the Bible that Peter ever said anything to indicate that he thought he would be head of the church, or that he made any attempt to be that?
---alan8869_of_UK on 9/27/05

The whole problem came up with people interpreting Mat.16:18 as Peter being the foundation of Jesus's church. This does not follow scripture. However, reading vs 13-20 as a revelation made by Peter of the mystery (at that time)that Jesus is God does fit scripture. "My sheep know my voice". I know you & you know me (spiritual revelation). Within that context there is no place for popedom nor anyone being a vicar of Christ. The perfect Man mediating to the perfect God for all mankind.

He is just a church leader to Gods standereds, but according to the bible he shouldn't be a leader at all because people call him(& other catholic deacons,leaders..)father,& our heavenly father doesnot want us to call anyone (except of course our family father)father except him.

Neither does Peter, Paul, and Mary (sounds like a music group) fit, nor Sally, Jesse, Rafaelie, nor anybody else for that matter.
