Nowhere does the Bible say"Satan cannot ready minds",but it is inferred. In Job,God knew Job's mind & how he'd react to trials.Satan didn't.Also,Satan is a created being,an angel, and in no way God's equal, tho he tried to be(Is.14:13,14).Only God knows ALL our innermost thoughts(Ps.139).Also,all interaction with Satan is done verbally. Then in Dan.2,the king's sorcerers could not interpret the dream because the demons who help them could not read the king's mind.It took a man of God to interpret. |

Satan is a fallen angel. He does not have the power (omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotence) of God. And I don't care if he listens to my prayers or not! (Sometimes I'd like to think he's listening just so that I can aggrevate him by praising Jesus).I would certainly not let him dictate the manner of my prayer. |

The answers below seem to agree that Satan is not "all knowing" however they seem to indicate that he is omnipresent "everywhere at once". He is not.
Satan is a creature. One creature. What makes you think that Satan even knows you exist and that he has an interest in your prayers. Why you, of all the millions of Christians in the world? |

Yes Satan listens to our prayers. He may not have the power to block our prayers but he can block out the answers we get from God. Satan tries to put a stumbling block in front of us, he will use anyone and everything to get our mind off of God, so we won't be able to hear the answers. I pray outloud, I know God hears what I say, and Satan also knows that when I pray, to back off. You need to have and keep your authority with Satan, tell him to go hell.
Moderator - How can Satan hear your prayers when he can only be at one place at one time? |

Jo, can you ellaborate a little bit more on this? I use to pray aloud. Do you mean that satan listens to my prayers and blocks them? Was Daniel praying aloud and therefore his blessings were delayed? Other brothers and sisters please also help me on this so that I can change the way I pray. |

Satan is not "All Knowing." Only God is. Satan doesn't have to read our minds. He knows our thoughts by our actions. He then know how to tempt us. He exploits our weakness and we go right along with him. |

They only way he can know what your thinking is if you "think out loud". If what you say is negative then he will feed off of the negativity, if it is postive then he will try and turn it into negative. |
