1. because I was born.
2. because the Holy Spirit revealed to me that there was a worldwide conspiracy.
3. because if the devil exists, and he does, then that makes all the Bible prophecies true.
4. because we have a book that tells us He exists and that promises eternal life to those who obey Him. As a divinity student I believe the authenticity of the Bible.

I believe on the Lord Jesus Christ because John 3:7 and I continually seek HIM because of Luke 13:24 & Heb.12:17, but I find much rest in Phl. 1:6 & Tim. 1:9
Hope this helps

I remember when i was 5 and Loved the Lord,
I listened to B. Graham W/G-Ma.
They planted the seed in me, But no one ever had to persuaded me to Come to Jesus.
The Holy Ghost Convicted My Soul and IT led me to my Knees.
Just like the Richman & Lazarus, The richman wanted to go back so he could Warn his Brothers, AND Abraham SAID that they Have the Word of God to save them more or less.
It's a good story you should read it & understand.

In this sinful world God must enable us to be persuaded or we would never believe in Him. I know God because I have met Him and talked with Him I have to some degree a personal relationship with Him [Jer. 9:23-24]. In the life of a Christian>>is an inner awareness of Him. Though we have not seen our Lord Jesus Christ, we indeed love Him.>> God's attitude toward the sin of mankind is not one of tolerance. God's hates man's sin.His wrath is a holy aversion to all that is evil. [Romans 1:18]

Should our faith be based upon feelings? Is that a solid basis upon which to make a life committment? Should we for example, enter into marriage, swept along by feelings or should we base our decision on things more lasting than feelings alone?
We're saved by faith but Scripture says it's-a sure and certain hope-not faith built on feelings.
Romans 1:20 says God is obvious by what He has created. So obvious that we are without excuse.
Do you really think your feelings convince others?

I believe in God for the same reason that someone called Joshua posted a question here...and it would foolishness to deny the evidential fact and truth to the contrary that there is a very real posting here.

"Why do you believe in God?" "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in those of us who hold the truth in righteousness, for the Father has shown his love through us. The invisible things of Him from the creation of the cosmos are clearly seen, being understood by the things created. The heavens declare the glory of God, man, the earth and all contained therein shows His handiwork. All of which declare His eternal power and Godhead, I think, therefore I am, I am because He is.

God has given me the grace to believe in him and his Son. I am so grateful.
---SusieQ on 4/26/08|
How else could I feel so much love toward people? God is love. Without God I have nothing, yes I have my family. but they can't give me what I need. When I need peace I go to God. Whatever I need him to be, that's just what he is. I believe in God because of who I am. I'm nothing special but with God abiding in me, nobody can top that.

I believe in God because He has blessed me with His truth in answer to my life-long prayers. There is nothing in this world that compares to this glorious gift of grace.

I believe that what God had said to be true and that truly there is nothing on earth that can explain the beginning and the End quite as the word of God does. There is no other life application book like the HOLY BIBLE that has mysteries/ revelations that unfold every time it is read, it is fair/just and above all demonstrates LOVE TO ALL even to Me that was once Lost and without a Hope. It is truly an amazing experience and an AWESOME journey!

I can feel His power. I have heard His voice a few times. Him dealing with me, which hurts like the dickens. His visions, I have had a few. His counciling. [He answers,] I go with Him on it. Everything works out.Amazing. Why God,is even helping me train and raise my cat and God hand picked my cat for me, which is a story in its on. Also, I am not the same person that I was ten years ago. Never would had gone through for a dead God what I have already gone through, not me. No Sir!
---catherine on 4/26/07|
I believe in God for the exact same reason that I believe someone living, and using the name Joshua printed this question here, which now is manifested in front of my eyes.
---Eloy on 4/25/07|
God is a person who lived on earth as Jesus Christ. To deny that is to deny fact. Therefore, it is likewise foolish to wonder if you are real, or to doubt that you ever existed and posted anything here. Jesus Christ is a REAL literary historical figure. He was seen, heard, touched, and recorded- just like you are. Miracles are also physical, tangible proof that God exists.

When I was younger, I tried all the different religions. I found the most common sense answers in the Bible, I found the Truth in God, my prayers get answered for myself and others, I can communicate with Jesus Christ, He is the only one that has never dissapointed me.........etc. etc...

Joshua, Got is as real to me as anything in life. I have seen his works in my life and am grateful for his blessings. That is why I believe. To not believe is to deny what I know. If you are doubting a good book is TRAVELING MERCIES by Anne LeMott. Bless you in your journey.

Because when I believed he was real, I felt him come into me when I ask him to. since then he has proved it. its funny how people will believe in things history books tell them such as abe lincoln, we havent met the man...yet we believe a book of pictures he was real. BELIEVING is the key word. believe Jesus is real and ask him into your heart you will be making the best decision you ever made in your entire life.

If you read the bible esically the new testiment and see how this book tells so much of what has happened and what is happening how could you then not believe there isn't a God. Also I have asked God things in my mind that only I know and he has answered them.

Why does one believe in his best friend? One who knows God as his best friend would never question belief in Him.

The more I know about the wonders of this world, and the vastness of the universe, the more I am convinced that there can be no other answer than God. The more you study Science the more you realize the miracle of what exists. How can the few chemicals that make DNA strands have fallen into so many different patterns to create all the living things on earth merely by accident? What are the odds of that? Yes, I have my faith, but I also have my proof.

The truth is, i see, hear, feel, and watch God himself in action. Proof is in the putting: Miracles, especially medical miracles of healing and resurrections, are physical and tangible proof that God exists. So i accept this evidence, proof, and fact that God is real. And it is foolish to deny the fact.

i believe in GOD for some reasons here is a few of them
i was a gangster a drug addict he came and cleance me save me and make me whole my parents friends institutions coudnt have done it .Its through His grace what i am today .He is also my provider i depend on him. Without him i am nothing He is the same God of Abram Isaac and Jacob the one that said let there be light and there was light

I believe and trust in God because life and creation is so obviously by His hand. Romans 1:20 Besides..what other "logical" options are there??? Evolution?? LOL. That THEORY is the insane explanation fools devise who will not accept the GOD of life and the proven Word. Guess they don't want to be accountable to Him, like that will change the inevitable. Really sad isn't it?
---Eloia_N_KS on 8/31/05|
personally, i know enough about science to not fall into the religion of evolution. there is nothing simple about the simple cell, the heavens are too vast and complicated to be an accident, and no one can explain how all matter compressed together can explode (they are caused by an outside force). there is proof there is a God, and the Christian/Judeo bible is the only one that has prophecies written hundreds of years before fulfillment and science before it was discovered. the proof is all in the book.
