"What makes God to be God?" According to that which has been given man as His word. Father declares Himself to be the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Since there is no one or nothing to dispute this. GOD is the authority that makes Him God.

our little petty minds can't comprehend God. He has always been and always will be. He is good, gracious, loving, has a face, hands, arms, feet and He made everything that is made.

God is just that God. He never changes, while other people change, some change more than they change their clothes. But God always, always remains the same. Whatever we need him to be, that's just what he is. No one knows anyone that can be a mother, father, brother, sister, all at the same time. Others try, but they can only be one at a time. God is all that and more. He changes not.

IF God were in human form in a room of people, He would be the only one that never needs an eraser on His pencil. He doesn't have to have deodorant. I'm not saying this to be trivial or disrespectful. God is as He always was. "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever". Absolute God. Yet, before He was God, God was!

God makes Himself to be God, because He is the only "person", "place", or "thing" that exists without any cause of being outside of Himself!. According to theologians, God is declared to be the "first cause" of all things. He created, and by Him all things exist.

Unlike us, God is Almighty (Omnipotent), God is All Knowing (Omniscient), God is Everywhere (Omnipresent).

From everlasting-to-everlasting (Ps. 41:13), God is not one who is made; but, is the Maker (Creator) of all things.

GOD IS!!! (John 1:1-5)

The Bible presents God (name) as being the God (position of authority, worthy of worship). Thanks Eloy for the references. Since He is the Creator or all, Source of life, light, & power, the Upholder of all things, and above all the Redeemer and only Savior, He is worthy to be God--alone worthy of worship and adoration. We cannot explain what makes Him to be; it is revealed why He is God--the One worthy of worship, is God!

[CONT.] words that refer to both of these humanly understandable concepts. If you'd rather have a 'guide' of some kind about God instead of searching the Bible on your own. God has always been God, and there is no other; yet the Word, the 2nd Person of the Trinity, became man (Jesus) to save us from sin! AMAZING GRACE!!!

David, Do you even know what makes YOU you? It seems a bit odd of a question, since you must have some idea of what "God" is to even ask it. But the best answer to this question for anyone is to read Scripture: The revelation from God Himself to all of us about Who He is! Genesis declares Him to be the Creator of the whole universe; including us. His Prophets discuss God's infinite existence; He created both *time and space*! Yet He speaks to us using terms we can understand including [CONT.]

God is al lsoverinty, the almighty, he is he. It is hard to explain because he was before we became,he is everlasting. So therefore he is God.
