When Is Your Prayer Answered

I am sure this has probably been asked several times but I am fairly new to this site. How do you know when God's answer to your prayer is no and when the answer is not yet?

Administrator, if it is allowed for you to do so, will you give my email address to Elena (privately, as you must have hers). I will understand if you are not allowed to do this.

There is no way to know for sure. God usually answers our prayers in ways we would never expect. Get to the point where you can genuinely thank God for everything in your life, be it prosperity or poverty, companionship or isolation, illness or good health. When you get to that point you will have the comfort of knowing that God is answering your prayers in the way He wants for you.

RELAX, you'll know when the answer comes, after asking, wait and listen for that [small quiet] voice that will "quicken" your spirit, wherever it comes from.

You did your part, watch for God to do His, as He did for Daniel, & others [including myself].

Daniels' prayers were heard the moment he prayed, the answer was hindered by demonic forces til Michael An ArchAngel arrived.

Wenda, There is no way God does not answer ALL prayers; however, His timing is not ours but His to give. Sometimes He is changing circumstances all around you while He is answering your prayer; it's not always just about us. Just be patient and He WILL make His answers known; what He does with your prayers in the heavenly war with satan and with others around your prayer you may never know, but He is with you and He IS answering your prayers - all of them.

This is not an exact answer to your question, but you need to end all your prayer requests with a sincere "Thy will be done." When you turn everything over to God, He will take care of it His way, and that is by far the BEST way.

After I pray I thank God for answering that prayer. It may not happen right away and at times it takes a while. But I keep on thanking him. I try to speak things as though they already are. Speak things into existance. I try not to pray for something over and over again, he heard me the first time and I thanked him.

Cultivate the skill of listening.

Often times God speaks when we pray, and in your spirit deep down you'll catch a whisper, and there are times when immediately you'll know if your prayer will be answered.

Be mindful I've gotten yes answers and seen nothing for weeks and months sometimes.
God moves in his time, not ours.

The best way I know of to have assurance that God will answer your prayer is to pray the Word. Find a promise in the Bible that meets your need and claim it.

As for "knowing" when the answer will come ... the Bible says that faith and patience work together. "... IMITATE those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised." (Hebrews 6:12)

You have to practice patience ... there's just no way around it.

I can tell you when I get my answers from God I know they are from him even though the answers are not the ones I want.If you ask God to make it so clear that there is no way you can't understand his answer he will do that as well but you must understand and accept that not all the answers you get are what you want.If you truly believe that God will answer all your prayers you will know when you get an answer. We serve such an awesome God and he is true to his word.

You may not know, at least for a while. My experience has been that my timetable and God's are not the same. I want things to happen quickly but God has a better schedule, and He is always on time. And I have found out later that some things that I wanted so much at one time would have been like a curse if I had gotten a "yes" answer on them.
