Getting New Orleans With Rita comes RITA, very near the same path. Is God still striving with New Orleans? You know, even the winds and waves obey Him. Mark 4:41 They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!"

I truly believe that this is the wrath of God. He is longsuffering, but the stinch of sin has reached His heavenly throne and He is tired of striving with man. I say let His will be done because He has given plenty of room for repentance. All we can do as saints is to pray that God have mercy on us all...and see fit that we stay here a little while longer...

I wondered that myself. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. Most of the evacuees from N.O. and now Houston are now coming up here, and so is Rita! We just need to pray for the safty of everyone.

Jason, you say you read this "They staged Sep 11, tsunami, school shootings, hurricane etc to usher in the new world order and the messiah, the anti-christ. It is the 'order out of chaos' dialetic process"
Can you please tell us where you read that? And how exactly did they stage the tsunami?

I believe that God is doing everything in His power to speak to man in these end times. I believe that He is using the weather to do it too. It is like God is saying "I am God, look to Me and no other." Look at all the hurricanes and now earthquakes too. God is love, but He will not strive with man forever.

I never thought a hurricaine would come inland like Rita did but it did live about 4 or more hour from New Orleans but it tore this town up and we are no where near the water
---betty on 5/31/06

Not only did Katrina and Rita hit New Orleans
after that a tornado hit there And the mayor was more worried about geting a hotel build and put a casino in there than he was anything i belive God is trying to wake people up they let the prisoners out and turn them lose there is no telling where they are Rita hit my home town we was outa of water light gas no stores were open because all there meats and dairy product ruined plus they didn't have lights

Did you ever stop to think for a moment that satan did this? He comes to steal, kill, and destroy. God allows things to happen. So, I'm thinking that with New Orleans destroyed, satan is going to build it back up worse than what it already was. Just something to ponder.

David, you can't have one (New Testament) without the other (Old Testament). The Old Testament was prophetic of what would happen in the New Testament. Revelations is based on what God revealed to John regarding what would happen in the end times. Look around, the end times are happenning as we speak. The end times are made up of God's judgement on us all.

Read somewhere that it is the satanic elite who control world economy, polictics, science and religion. They staged Sep 11, tsunami, school shootings, hurricane etc to usher in the new world order and the messiah, the anti-christ. It is the 'order out of chaos' dialetic process. The desired outcome is population control, liberty and privacy erosion, gun control, re-wilding of the earth etc. However, the elite's plan are consistent with and actually forced by God to fulfil prophecy.

Not finished yet??? Anita, Show me in the NT where he has started.. The NT is a 'new' covenant. The old has passed away. It is a new contract between God and us, so we can't use the OT to say what God is or is not doing in the present day. Do you have NT Scripture?
---David on 9/28/05

David, maybe he is not finished yet.

99% of the nation today do not have a clue what poor is. Did any of you experience the great depression? Then you can talk about poor. This country is RICH I tell you. Choices make a lot of people in WANT..but no one goes hungry....unless it's the children or very aged because of someone else's neglect or missmanagement. Perhaps there are a LOT of sluggards waiting for the welfare truck??? Read Proverbs about sluggards. GOD feeds the birds of the air..but he DOESN'T throw it in the nest!!!

The point being made...there WAS NO racism in the rescues in N.O. as some podium pounding, media seeking names have claimed. I saw brotherhood and Christian love demonstrated. Where were these radical, critical "black brothers" who did nothing but shout racism charges? They were in front of TV camera in a suit and tie. No racism seen among rescues or in shelters for the 1000s. I put my money where my mouth is..on the front line.

Whether the hurricanes are caused by God, natural phenomena or both I don't know, but what concerns me is 1)what is my responsibility to the folks who are affected?, 2)what am I doing as an intercessory prayer warrior, to search for and respond to the will of God?, and 3) am I treating the victims as well as all others with the love of Jesus (either in print or in deeds)? Let us not lay blame, but rather do that which Christ commanded with an all embracing love in His Holy Name.

Hurricane Watcher ... it may just be that in NO the non-Causasian population ddi not earn enough money to own a boat (after all many were unable to afford a car) and were never given the opportunity (or lacked the mobility needed) to join the services, and so fly the helicopters to the rescue.
---alan8869_of_UK on 9/25/05

I don't think there was any Racism in N.O. Poor is Poor as being a poor single mother I know I would possible be one of the many victims in New Orlean's. I am disabled don't drive a car and have very few friends!! So I would be a person stuck with no where to go. We don't get money being disabled we are poor!! And when natural disaster's seem to come we have to lean on Jesus !!

HW, God is not striving with New Orleans! Rita is coming along on almost the same path with Katrina because facing the Gulf, hurricanes traveling inland must travel along that path! If you really are a hurricane watcher as you claim to be, have you seen hurricanes smashing on places other than the places facing the gulf? And if you are a "hurricane watcher", then you ought to understand the principles behind the formation of hurricanes!

God always uses bad for good. Just look at all of the people that have reached out to the ones that need help, christians and non-christians alike. Some have even found the forgiving love of christ due to the christians that are reaching out and spreading the gospel. Our purpose on this earth is to serve our God.

In New Orleans, beginning Tuesday morning, August 30, I saw men in helicopters risking their lives to save stranded flood victims from rooftops. The rescuers were White, the stranded Black. I saw Caucasians navigating their small, private boats in violent, swirling, toxic floodwaters to find fellow citizens trapped in their houses. Those they saved were Black.
I saw Brotherhood. New York Congressman Charlie Rangel saw Racism
---HW on 9/24/05

I saw a lot of brotherhood
Charlie Rangel, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, who constantly cry "racism!" even in situations where it does not exist, even when undeniable images illustrate love, compassion and concern. These three men, together with today's NAACP, want to continue the notion of Racist America. It is their Mantra, their calling card. Their power, money, and continued media appearances depend on it.

I don't profess to be a scholar or all knowing (actually, I am still only a toddler in my walk with Christ), but did the Lord not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of the sin there? Could this be true of N.O.? I have never been there, but I have heard of the drunkeness parties of "Fat Tuesday" and Mardi Gras and the way the women act, etc. Just a thought.
---Debbie on 9/23/05

God is trying to tell us something. We are a nation whose has turned her back on God. Just the other day in Sacremento, a judge said the kids in school didn't have to say the pledge of allegance because it had "under God". One athiest caused all that. One person. God will not spare his judgement.
---shira_5965 on 9/23/05

Shaz,You said God won't destroy His own. He did with the flood because of the sin. The rainbow is a promise that God won't flood the WHOLE earth at once as He did before. Yes, God is a loving God, but He WILL NOT tolerate sin. No one is blaming God, we are just pointing out the obvious truth. I understand what you are saying about the ozone layer, but God is the one controlling the weather.
---Melissa on 9/23/05

These storms are from the sin of one man, Adam.
New Orleans is/was a very sinful place. So is Las Vegas, and Chesterfield Va. This is not God's wrath even though the Homosexuals will not be able to dance, march and have sex in the streets this year.
This is an act of nature and an example of things to come.
Of all man has he can't stop a little ol storm. It ain't nothin but wind and water. We got Steel, Concrete, Levies and Dams.
The only thing we got that we don't use is Prayer.

con't Why is mankind so selfish as not to take the blame for ruining our world with pollution and what we call advancement. Has anyone heard of ozone layer? We where warned many yrs in advance of the ozone and what human pollutions would do to it and what it would cause? Like weather patterns would be messed up?
MY GOD is a loving God who created me with a free will just as he did everyone else. Perhaps mankind had better step up and take blame where blame is due rather than blaming our creator.
---Shaz on 9/23/05

I do not know why when bad things happen everyone wants to right away blame God.
Answer this, If God was punishing these people then WHY THEM? Why not another country. Every country has sinners none are worse than the other. God would not destroy his own creation. Did he not send a rainbow after the flood as a promise never to flood the earth again????
---Shaz on 9/23/05

(Pt 2) 1 John 1:8-10 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." Then we ALL have sin of some sort in our lives... so if one person dies because God has judged sin in their life, we ALL should be dead as well!
---david on 9/23/05

I have to wonder... if God is a JUST God, and He is, and he is tired of 'striving' (which means 'to rule over') man.. and he is sending JUDGEMENT on NO.. Then because He is JUST, he will have to judge all men and all sin at the same time, otherwise it would be fair and God is NOT fair, but he IS JUST.. (Pt 2 to follow)
