---JOHN on 5/9/10 You must be a fundamentalist.LOL!!!

You might study before you criticize, maybe you wouldn't be such a legalist
---michael_e on 5/9/10

It just might be how an employer is to treat his employees.
---michael_e on 5/8/10

I can think of a lot better letters and books in the secular world on employee relations.

You must be a fundamentalist.

I suppose you think when Paul tells Timothy to get his books and coat when he comes up to visit him in Rome a devine revelation.

LOL!!!

I am a fan of the Bible from Genesis to maps. I have to say honestly that Levticus and Numbers are my least favorite. But, if I had to name one, it is Genesis because that gives me the foundation to everything else in the Bible.

Isaiah is my favourite.
It is the most complete book of the bible.
---francis on 5/6/10

we should not favour a portion of God's Word. It is like favouring Christ's leg and not the rest of His body. Remember friends, this is Christ our Lord your talking about. You should favour the whole scriipture from the begining to the end..

romans, where else can you find salvation, justification, and doctrine for today
---michael_e on 1/11/10

My favorite: The book of Romans... yet, the book of James is the book that I read the most. Romans because of the rich history of the faith, and yet James, because it deeply touches my heart. I can find salvation throughout Romans (10:9) and yet I can find peace, comfort and joy in the book of James. Romans deals with the depths of the Christian faith, and James reminds us on how to "walk" in our faith.

Isaiah is number one. Jeremiah is right under Isaiah. I also love Lamentations and Psalms

I really do not have a "favorite".

However, in the NT, I love the Holy Gospels, but most importantly the Gospel according to Saint John (for it's Christology), Saint Paul Epistle to the Hebrews, the Catholic Epistles (James, 1-2 Peter, 1-3 John, and Jude).

In the OT, the Psalter, Proverbs, Sirach, and Wisdom of Solomon are my favorites.

In IC.XC,

My favorites change from time to time, often depending on what I'm reading. Hebrews is a current favorite in the NT. And I love the Gospel of Luke. I refer often to Psalms, when I'm feeling needy. I like Ecclesiastes. And, yes, Leviticus is very interesting.

I have not read deeply in the bible but rather have been skipping around in the years, but I stopped rather recently and started books from start to finish... In my personal belief no one book can be judged greater then the other, but can be put into categories rather and those can be ranked in their categories. To not be a headache I'll work with the program:
Ecc, Rev, Joh: especially Ch. 3, and Gal which is sort of growing on me right now- now that people have posted about it xD! Good luck on your reading (KJV is the book I read from) and if you havn't accepted jesus in your heart and soul- DO it today!!!

If I see scriptures and one is leading to Isaiah I will go there first. And Jeremiah a close second.

My favorite is Leviticus. I love going through all the laws, it's amazing. There is a law for everything including rape, and what to do after childbirth, and farming laws. I know it sounds boring but once you get into it it's really interesting.
