Remains a Christian? What must I do to be saved?
That being said, the ouija board thing is an urban legend, and his biting the heads off chickens is an urban legend. As for "21 and older", that may be the law where he's playing. (If you look at his tour schedule, most of his shows seem to be at state fairs and such as that.) |

His outcome IS as ours. Would HIS prayers help You/Me "STAY A Christian"? I Don't think so! I HOPE were ALL stronger than That.
Think about Pauls "Influence", Christians sent to prison & Killed.
Once God forgives a man, WHO is man to hold the Sins, AGAINST Him? Were not to Hold the Ignorance of Mans youth Against him. If anything WE should Praise God,his Net(Love) has pulled another person from the Darkest Depths. |

I don't know how many will keep praying that Alice Cooper will remain a Christian. I do not believe we should make promises to pray, tell someone that we will, and then break our promises to do so. That's worse than not praying at all.
We all have to walk out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Fear, meaning being in awe of God, awesome wonder of God. There is no one else that can pull us through day by day but Jesus Christ and we all must rely on Him individually. He is the Mediator. |

As a "former" fan of Alice Cooper, all I can say is that "IF" he has become a christian, he certainly has a lot of negative influence to overcome. If it is true that he has been saved, then praise God. I know that God can certainly save anyone He chooses. By the way, when and on what show did you hear this interview? |

If he was born again and leaves behind all that he was. |

I bought a book called Rock Stars On God. There was a bunch of rock stars in there, and there was Cooper. I read the whole thing, like 10 or more pages. After that, I have been a Huge fan. I listed to everything after and including Last Temption. Yes, pray for him. |

I have known one of Alice Copper's aunts for many years, and Pearl told me that Alice (Vince, as his family calls him) is in fact a Christian and has been one for many years. His father was an ordained minister and Vince was saved years ago. He is also a very good person and has been married to the same woman for 30 years. They have several children together. He raised his children in a Christian way. |

If you listen to his music since '94, you will hear that the music is definately a morality play. It may still rock hard, and you have to peel the onion to realize the true characters and message, it is obvious that Alice preaches his religion from his nonconventional pulpit. |

Greetings in Christ to all. I have read the interview for myself, and it is clear that Alice Cooper is in fact saved, and a Brother in the Lord. I was so blessed by the interview! and encouraged, there is nothing too hard for Our GOD! I think GOD is doing what HE said HE would do. Saving the lost. I praise HIM for this!! (Thank you DoryLory, for the information!!) Love to all, mary8387 |

I took the time to look up the interview, or one similar, and found out that this took place in October 2000. It didn't say when Alice Cooper supposedly made his decision, but, he did say that he could be a "christian" and still be a rocker. If he made a decision for Christ, and hasn't changed his show sufficiently to cause people to turn away from him because of that change, his conversion would be ineffectual at best. I would like to believe the report, but, Christ makes a difference lives. |

Steve - that is a supposed urban legend. In interviews, Alice Cooper has said the name came out of thin air. Alice Cooper (Vincent Furnier) had a grandfather who was a pastor & his father & his father-in-law were also pastors. He has a legacy of prayer behind him & God is using him in an industry that desperately needs Jesus. He feels his ministry is to be a warning that Satan is real, not a myth or a joke. Recently his good friend, Dave Mustane (of the band Megadeth) gave his heart to the Lord. |

, why is he still using a name he got from a ouija board? and why did a recent concert advertize "21 and older"? i have doubts about this man. |

For some reason the first eight parts about Alice Cooper's testimony didn't get published. I think it's very interesting and inspiring so if you would like to read the rest of it, write me at Dory7973. |

Pt9 'ALICE COOPER' in huge letters, 'speaking about Christ' in small letters. And I'm sitting there going, 'That is blasphemy - the fact that my name is even bigger.' That tells me something right there that something's wrong. I'm a rock singer. I'm nothing more than that. I'm not a philosopher. We all have our ideas on what's going on in the world. I'm not a politician. I'm a rock singer. |

Pt10 "I can find clever little ways of saying it. I can sing, and I can act, and do all this -- things to make you laugh, smile, cringe, and do all those things, but that's all I am. This is my job. I always tell people, 'My job is rock and roll. My life is dedicated to follow Christ.'" |

WOW! Just shows the glory of God. It really makes me think about how we, as Christians, think that we know people and the mind of God. We hear that someone like Alice Cooper gets saved and we question as though ANYONE is out of His reach... Much like Jane Fonda. Word got out that she accepted Christ and publicly apologized for her former acts, yet there are still christians who refuse to forgive her. Thank You, Jesus, for dying for the least of us. |

continued..."If you believe this is just mythology, then you're a prime target, because that's exactly what Satan wants- to be a myth. But he's not a myth, of this I'm totally convinced. More than anything else in the world, I'm convinced of that." |

Quote from 2002 interview with Lonn Friend, editor of on-line rock magazine "You couldn't believe in God without believing in the devil...When you believe in God, you've got to believe in the all-powerful God. He's not just God, he's the all-powerful God, & he has total control over everyone's life. The devil, on the other hand, is a real character who's trying his hardest to tear your life apart...continued |

"What about truth,What about life,What about glory,What about Christ,What about peace,What about love,What about faith in God above?What about war,What about hell,What if I stumble,What if I fell,What about blood,what about greed,& all these things you're offering me?Yeah,what about me,little me.You lose-I win.You couldn't suck me in.It's over,you have no power-you're lost-I'm found.And I'm Heaven bound.Go back to where you belong-to where you fell..Go to hell."Alice Cooper-Cleansed by Fire. |
