Chronicles Of Narnia Movie
LOVED it! I read the book to my kids before the movie. It was great! The movie pretty much goes by the book. I think it is wonderful coming from a Christian mother of five!

Yes, the first movie kept to the story line in the book.
I would read all the books in the Chronicles of Narnia before the movie.
They are 100% Christain. They were meant for children, but even adults love them.
He wrote an adult version called SPACE TRILOGY
1. Out of the Silent Plant
3. That Hideous Strength
They are Collector's books. Every generation will love them.

The Narnia books were written by C.S. Lewis. He is OK. I prefer the writings of Sinclair Lewis.
(Did anyone get that?)

Barbara, C.S.Lewis after he became a christian is said to have led more highly educated people to Christ than anyone. He was professor as well as a writer.
This movie was most interesting.

I enjoyed the movie a great deal. It was so well done and a treat for kids and adults alike. It showed God's awesome love for us.

We saw the movie last weekend. It is a children's movie and very well done - at least as well as the Potter movies.
I would agree that it does indeed convey a Christian message. I plan on purchasing the video when it is released.

I wept in this movie as I saw how it told the story of the power of Jesus love for us, apart from a few things not biblical (like riding a unicorn into battle) it is a powerful message about Jesus, I love the words "It is Finished" in the movie. Good witnessing material if you explain it to non believers.

I liked reading all the books of C.S.Lewis. "Screwtape Letters" and "Mere Christianity" my favorites.
I haven't seen this movie.
I don't know if Sinclair Lewis was an athiest or not. He did have a strong body of writing, including "Elmer Gantry", I consider that a classic. He earned I think 2 Pulitzer prizes.

I was really impressed with it -- it left me wanting to rewatch the Passion movie!

I saw this last night. I found it to be an excellent movie. Technicaly, the special effects are the best yet. In the story itself I found a powerful message of the sacrifice of Christ. I am not ashamed to say it had me in tears.
