"Jews" as we know them today are nation of ancient Israel they were Gods chosen people until they rejected Christ ...Spiritual Israel are Christians today and the blessings given to Abraham and his seed are through Christ and as Christs bride the blessings are for us as well

God is not calling everyone now John 6:44,65, 14:6, Rom 8:28-30, 9:11 many ignorant ministers having no understanding of Gods Word teach by fear based sermons that now is only time to be "saved" which is antichrist to Gods Holy Word ...and many more are led away by another spirit believing they are ones who bring the "lost" to God

Gods plan is greater than any man could ever conceive ...salvation to Jews comes much later

St.John 1 v 11. Jesus came unto His Own(the Jewish people) & they recieved Him not, because they were wanting an earthly-king & Not a Heavenly King. God's First chosen(the Jewish people),the children of Iarael & the apple of God's eye. Us gentiles are adopted or grafted into His grace.

Out of one blood he made all peoples to cover the earth. God is no respector of persons, and he regards every race equal. People are either saved and born-again Christians; or they are damned and lost sinners.

Although there were times when God forsook them because of sin He still considers them to be the natural Olive tree according to Romans 11. We are grafted into the natural tree as branches. There will come a time of the fulness of Gentiles when all of Israel shall be saved. There are many who believe that Israel has lost it's status but this chapter seems to clear it all up.

GAL 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
It seems by this verse that the promise has always been to the believers

john, we must profess the whole Bible. God did not break his covenant with Abraham, Abraham's lineage broke it over and over again. Multitudes of Jews die in their sins and go into hell every day for rejecting their only Savior Jesus Christ. They are well known for killing their prophets sent to them. God does not see as man does. When his own forsake him he cannot save them, but when his own repent and they accept the Lord Jesus then he can save them.

Rebecca, Galatians 3:27-29 reads that if you are a born-again Christian, than you are a true Jew from Abraham's offspring, because Christ is a Jew. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20.

Eloy. I understand what you are saying. Jews that refuse Christ are not chosen, they belong to the devil. I agree. But as far as the nation goes we have a promise by God. Now it's still up to each Jew to accept Jesus before he is saved.Just the same as every one else. We all agree. It's the nation as a whole that is separated to God. Is that more clear?
---john on 12/30/05

Eloy, I have read that, and it was preached on, but God said that the Jews are his chosen. They are his chosen because of his promise to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob.

Hey!! Did you all read Rom 11? We are grafted into the natural vine and when the fulness of the gentiles comes ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED.They must be some special people respected of God. I don't see God saying that about any other nation. Abraham would be ticked off big time if he found that God broke his blood covenant with him.

Rebecca, God is no repector of persons, he is not prejudice, he chooses all races alike. Racially, the Jew is no better than the nonJew. Please read Galatians 3:27-29 again. Whoever denies Christ before men, Christ will deny them before the Father and the holy angels. Please read what Jesus said to the Jews who thought they were God's chosen people in John 8:21-59.
---Eloy on 12/29/05

I understand that Eloy, but the Jews are still God's chosen. Whether they are a sinner or not, they are still God's chosen. Jesus was a Jew, there will be 12 tribes chosen in the end by God, all whom will be Jews, 144,000.

Rebecca, There are 2 Covenants, not 1: The Old Testament, and the New Testament. If you are a Jew by race, but you deny Jesus Christ, than you are not God's chosen anymore but have made yourself the child of the devil and must be condemned. God looks upon a person's being whether they are born-again or not. Please read Galatians 3:27-29.
---Eloy on 12/28/05

Yes, they are and they always will be. God said himself that they are his chosen. God's word doesn't change.
---Rebecca_D on 12/28/05

No, not any more. They lost that distinction 3 1/2 years after Calvary. "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." (Gal 3:29)
