I recently read an article that says the ark is in Ethiopia inside a guarded area. In The Revelation, John sees the ark in heaven with God, Rev. 11:19

Hudson, are you referring to the late Ron Wyatt who also claimed to have found Noah's Ark, the wheels from Pharoah's chariots in the Red Sea, Sodom and Gomorrah etc? I was quite taken in by his video until it came to the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant and the drop of Jesus' blood that he said he had recovered and had tested and found to have only one set of chromozomes.

Indiana Jones found it once. Ask him.

Have you heard, some are claiming it's under Calvary.
When Jesus said, "It is finished", fulfilled the law, the blood of Jesus also touched the Ark, under Calvary.
Also, that Calvary was the spot where Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac?

The great original ark of the covenant, of which the earthly was a copy, was revealed to Moses in the mount (Exodus 25:40 & Hebrews 8:5), and seen by John in heaven (Revelation 11:19). As far as the Bible reveals, the original is still in the temple or tabernacle in heaven; and the copy made in the wilderness disappears after being placed in Solomon's temple and the temple is destroyed by the Babylonians. Some today say they have "discovered" this copy, but no proof yet that I have seen.

The one made "after the pattern" by Bezaleel in the wilderness for the earthly tabernacle was in Solomon's temple (1 Kings 8:6) and contained at that time only the two tables of stone upon which the ten commandments were written. The scriptures do not reveal what happened from there, but tradition has it that Jeremiah and others hid it in a cave just previous to Jerusalem's fall to the Babylonians.

I think that God must have made sure that the ark of the covenant perished so that no-one could idolize it. But really, who cares.

the ark..Jesus is the ark of the covenant..absolutely..look at the is a model of Jesus and how we come to Him. our plan of salvation....He is the sanctuary...

Eloy. I have to agree. It really doesn't matter to me where the Ark is, or if it even still exists. Jesus took care of that for us!

and I enjoyed the movie too!

nurseRoberts, i like that movie, and the part where the bad guy faked being a jewish priest in order to claim the power of the ark of the covenant, and how God's power disintegrated them. Anyhow, Jesus is my Ark. And like in Noah's Day, Jesus Christ is calling to everyone today, Come on, and hop on board the Ark and be saved.

Thats the one that Indiana Jones found? Isn't it hidden in a government warehouse? Sorry, Moderator, I had to do it.

Moderator - I knew somebody would know :)
