I get to express my love to Jesus through songs and prayers. Praise and worship is pleasing to God, therefore I do it!

The fact that God is enjoying it

I prepare by: Entering his gates with thanksgivings. Thanking him because he didn't have to chose me, save or deliver me. I am most grateful. I praise because it clears the atmosphere of demonic issues and strongholds in the airway and prepares for worship. I worship God because I love the intimacy of his presence!

The presence of the Holy Spirit.

Praise means to thank God for what he has done. Worship means to thank God for who he is. Once a person understands this, it is easy to praise and worship God. It took me awhile to understand this. But praise and worship starts at home.

God deserves our praise and worship!
I feel closer to God during those times than any other, whether with my church body, or home alone.
My favorite time of praise and worship is when my husband and I join hands at home and surrender all our worship and thanksgiving to God. I can almost feel a 'cloud' of the Holy Spirit envelope us. Praise His name!
