You can always start your own blog and let everyone judge your prophecies. You can give words, endless in nature that lead to nowhere. You might even find some that will follow you. If it's your own blog, you can delete all those who oppose you.

The way others will know if one is a true prophet of God is by their fruits according to the bible. There are gifts of the Spirit found in ICor. 12. Including the gift of prophecy. If you are annointed of God to work in the gift of prophecy and if truly of God, simply put the prophecies will come to past. For God is truth. First,go to the Bible and look up all the Prophets,write a list of the miracles that God did through them. In so doing you will find the Prophets did a lot more than just speak out prophesies about the future.If all you have done is given prophesies then you aren't a Prophet. Besides God speaks one to one to His Prophets,does He do that for you? Does everything you say line up with the written Word of God? It must. Do you speak to the whole church or indiviuals? Let others call you prophet not yourself. |

GENUINE humility is the requirement and maintenance of wisdom. If you were a "prophet", you wouldn't even know it, let alone want to think of yourself as one (acknowledging it would offend your humility).
Christianity has always had the "strong delusion" because people wanted to think more of themselves than they should (Romans 12:3). Do you choose your wisdom to be found in the parables (Mark 4:11)?. You're having a personal relationship with yourself and glorifying SELF. |

I did read an interesting study about televangelists and their wives. Many of the women have a higher incidence of cancer. It's not often mentioned. I did think about it when Tammy Faye died. My husband thinks that down deep, they are riddled with guilt, and it manifests as infirmity. Gabe, you probably know the inside scoop better than most. Christ's messengers declare Christ's message that sets the captives free. They proclaim the acceptable (not unacceptable) year of the Lord and preach the gospel (good news) to the poor.

Gospel=good news=death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ
Good is "not evil" and news is "the report of something that has already happened". If your prophecy doesn't fall in line with "good news", then it fails to be the message of Christ. One can love Jesus and still be an enemy of His cross. |

She said she was a prophetic dancer.
She would fling around and do a few ballet moves, a few head and hair twirls. Oh, it was nice. Then the flags, and twirly gigs would fling into people's faces, whip them upside the head.
I don't know about any 'anointing' on it, but she desperately needed attention. She would dance up and down the aisles. Listening was very difficult. She was going through a divorce, and looking for a man. |

It was a unique way of getting attention from the men in the congregation. But it was 'prophetic' and the nuts oohed and aahed over it.
You see many ungodly, fleshy moves in the Church. Some of it turns your stomach. Rarely, someone with a genuine prophetic ministry comes along and totally redeems your belief that not all prophets are crazy loons with a miriad of problems, needing to sit down and shutup. |

During the crazy prophet move at this church, one loon would stand up to give a word and lay down at the podium and laugh until he basically passed out. It was quite uncomfortable watching a 40 yr old man roll around at the podium and laugh for 30 minutes or so. It was like a scene from One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. All the rest of the nuts would cut loose and roll around on the carpet. |

I wasn't there too long after this move started.
The main loon started his own church. It didn't last but a few months. He was a laughing prophet. Some Sundays he just laid up at the podium and never preached a word. But the nuts all enjoyed it.
You see, he had just come back from the Toronto Blessing or Brownsville Revival or both, and that's what he brought back. There was some barking like seals, roaring like lions, crowing like roosters, mooing like cows. Yes, it really did happen. |

Come on people, we should give these people who believe they are prophets the benefit of a doubt. Prophets of old were given specific instructions from God to do something. It may be days, months or years before God gives another instruction to the prophet.

Many false prophets have started their own churches, religions. Jesus told us to beware of false prophets in sheeps' clothing.
