Who Is Anti-Israel

Some high placed Christians may have turned anti-Israel. Is the PD deal anti-Israel? Is the dividing of Israel's land creating a state of Palestine, defined by God's Word, not also anti-Israel? All this anti-Israel activity is being proposed and pushed forward by whom?

I thought this was a great answer by Lee so I am posting it again,

"God is in control of all that can happen in this world and as such establishes the countries that are on this earth for His purpose whatever that may be. The land of Israel is in the prophetic chain of events and will serve the end time purpose before the 2nd coming of Christ.

Israel, and all nations, need to repent.

Besides Satan I don't know, but it is worrisome. My heart goes out to Israel. [That is God].... Israel's prime-minister came on TV and thanked all the Christians for their prayers and support for his country.

Anti - Israel
They Are Nations - people that are against Israel.

The wrath of God will be on such people.

Do you see the two flags raised together?
Do you see the two flags united as one?

Israel is sister to America!
Love Israel as you Love America!
Now Israel looks up to America as a Friend.

God doesn't play, we are either his or are condemned; and he does not care what you call yourself or what race you come from, whether Jew or Gentile, you either obey him or you pay the consequences which is hell and damnation. Don't get me wrong, for I do hurt deeply for those who were destroyed in the holocaust, and I don't commend Adolph Hitler for his atrocities, but God is very clear: be faithful and exclusive with me in my Paradise, or I will drive you out of my holy hill and I will love you no more.

Israel is definitely far from perfect, but we read in the Scriptures that God will honor His promise that He made to their forefathers. Israel has suffered much because they rejected Christ, but God will sanctify(save) the one's who accept His only begotten Son, Jesus, and it will only be a FEW, just like the gentiles. God Bless!

I am not pro or anti israel. I am tired of people that treat Israel as the "perfect" Nation. they are not perfect they have done alot wrong. And alot of the terrorism that they face they could have prevented 50 years ago. Hammass has every right to hate Israel. it was started by students that were taken by Israeli soldiers and left in the desert to die. Israel is not perfect. I love the Jews because they were the source of my Lord and savior. But they are not perfect. they never have been.

Now by saying this I do support the Nation of Israel because the Jewish people need a "home" every nation of the world has rejected Jews, even the USA, we have all been anti-semites in our history. For this reason they need a place to go to find peace. But they also need to be willing to grant peace to others around them (I think creating a safe haven for Jews in Palistine was asking for war)

Love Israel.

3. That is, the sins of the entire Jewish race. "The Church taught that short of murder, no punishment, no suffering, no obloquy was too severe for the descendants of those who had refused to recognize the Messiah." They truely need our help more then anyone. They are in fact God's chosen nation, from all, He choose them even when they refused Him. God will accomplish His purpose with that nation. I believe we will hear a lot of news coming from there in the next few months.

2. I feel bad for the Palestians but worse for Israel. They have been persecuted for conturies by almost every country. The stigma that the Catholic church put on them was the most horrible thing that anyone had done. The long harsh treatment of the Jews by the popes was the result of a serious misunderstanding of Gospel Truth. For, by the church's own interpretation of the Cross, it was not Jews alone, whether wholly or in part, who were responsible for the Crucifixion but the sin of the world.
---Lupe2618 on 3/1/06

Alan, let me say something on this. As I understand from websites and material about Israel, when the land was been used by the Palestians, it was desolated as you said. It was owned by five rich Arabs from Saudi Arabia. Just before the last world war many rich Jews mostly in the states began to buy much of the land from the Arabs. Of course the Arabs didn't mind because they figured they would just get it back later by using the Palestians as the tool. They were caught in the middle without a country.

Whether they have been in the land that was promised to them or not, the Jews, like us all, have an imperfect record in behaving as God told them to. Will it not be God who ordains when Israel is given back "their" land, rather than the United Nations or groups of Christians?

The issue is very clear to me. Any Christian who is against Israel Just doesn't have a clue about what they are doing. That land was given to the Jews by God in a convenant with Abraham. Who is the UN or anybody to change that. Jerusalem is the city of God. Full stop.
---pkay on 3/1/06

BTW I understand that "Palestinian" is the new name for the old Philistines. Both groups had/have their HQ in the Gaza Strip.

That is where David hid out for a while, pretending madness.

Shines a new light on Hamas and Yassar Arafat, doesn't it?
---John_T on 3/1/06

Another possible reason is sticking up for the disadvantaged, which is a good Christian principle. The Israelis are so much "better off" than the Palestinians, so should give to the Palestinians to help them. But the P's occupied the land for centuries without making anything of it, yet when the Jews arrive, they turn it fertile within a few years by their energy and devotion.. So there's another reason ... jealousy.
---alan8869_of_UK on 3/1/06

Look into bible without any particular author just like the genuine sacred koran and torah. Check whether the israelis follow their own original sacred torah and live with their prophet's way of living. We do believe that when jews are chased out of europe, who give them shelters?

simple it is satan the devil.. Eph 4:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
---willow on 2/28/06

Mima ...#3 The whole issues is of course further clouded by the fact that the Arab states tried to push Israel into the sea, and the Israeli occupation of parts of Palestine is a result of that aggression. I wonder what we should do about it ... some Christians seem to welcome the armageddon that seems to be threatened, on the basis that that would be a pressaage to the Second Coming.
---alan8869_of_UK on 2/28/06

Mima ...#2 As to why Christians are saying that Israel is wrong in occupying former Palestinian land, this is I suppose partly a response to the Non Judea/Christian view.
But partly I wonder whether it is becasue the OT says that the Jew should honour the stranger in their land ... and the treatment of Palestinians by Israelis hardly fulfils that commandment. ... cont ...
---alan8869_of_UK on 2/28/06

Mima ...#1 the land was given to the Jew originally, but more recently it was occupied by the Palestinians. By international agreement, Israel was given back some of the land. In wanting to hold on and occupy the land that was not given to them by that international agreement, they are seen by the international community to be in the wrong.
The world is not Christian or Jewish, so we cannot expect them to say that the land was given to the Jews by God... cont
