Ulrika gives good advice.
I had similar fears at one time in my life. Don't get the idea that having a "nervous breakdown" means you are not capable of being hired and making money.

Learn all you can about jobs before you apply. Break down your job hunt into small steps and tackle one fear at a time. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, pray before each task you fear and trust the Lord to work things together for GOOD. Disappointments are sometimes just a way for God to just steer you in a different direction. So don't get discouraged.
The Lord wants you to have the satisfaction of earning the money you need.

Nothing is going to happen to release your finances if you don't go to work. Now if you have an inheritance of money, land, some type income then that is different. Otherwise you will have to work like the rest of us.Just praying for a release is not going to just happen.
Don't let the devil scare you into believing you cannot hold a job. God has not given you a spirit of fear.

Carole, 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a SOUND mind.
Hopefully with your breakdown, you are now in some counceling. It can get frustrating when it seems you pray and pray and pray without seeing anything results. I have done the same thing in the past. Keep the prayers going! BUT, you are expecting God to answer your prayers when YOU want him too. And not according to HIS will.

Verse 2:
You think you have fallen, beyond his arms of grace, while all the while, He's waiting there for you. All you have to do is CALL upon His Name, and instantly, He'll take your guilt and shame. Just one touch of the Master's hand!

Read these words of one of my favorite songs:
"I can see you're tired and hurting, and I know that you're in pain, and nothing in life seems worthwhile. You've tried everything, to bring you peace of mind. You're looking for someone to mend your broken life. Just one touch of the Master's hand. That's all it takes to find the healing, that only he can send. You're tired and weary, and your burdens you can't bear, let the Lord take over, HE WILL NEVER FAIL!

I understand how you feel, because I have gone through it too. Continue taking your medicine. Have you believed in Jesus and accepted him as your saviour? Philippians 4:13, Proverbs 3:15. 2Timothy 1:7 Was the verse of the year at church, when I was recovering from a nervous breakdown. You should ask you pastor and elders to pray for you. Ask God to strengthen your faith, and take away fear and worry.

First days can be scary because of the unknown. First day at school, first day at work, etc. See it as a good thing, there will be new people to meet, new things to learn, and hopefully some new friends. Pray for God's confidence, when you walk in prayer he can be with you wherever you go to work...~One day at a time, sweet Jesus, that's all I'm asking of you. Help me today, help me to pray, one day at a time~...

part 3:
In due time, you will be able to look back and see how AMAZING and suttle God has moved in your life. But you "TOTALLY" have to put it in God's hand! The blessing he is going to bestow upon you, and the testimony you will have. God bless you.

part 2:
God already has a plan and a purpose for you in this situation. So pray for the Holy Spirit's wisdom and guidence for God's will.
Do not listen to those "voices" that are telling you that you are not "worthy" to hold a job for someone. Satan attacks the mind with fear and doubt, low-self esteem. Ask God for the "RIGHT" employer, that will fullfill HIS purpose for you, so that you can be a witness for HIM to others.
