"So do you believe the Black horse represents world wide famine?" Yes. However the famine is not for food to sustain the physical. But rather food to sustain the spiritual. Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD."

Those horses are the four aspects of Christ in His life and death...righteous earth walk (white), red (Jesus made sin), black (Jesus identifying with our darkness and weighing good and evil in the balances), and pale (Jesus made the curse). With that in mind, go back and read that passage of Scripture. That book is signified, which simply means that it is written in signs that point to Christ and His work.

Famine is the least of it, all the plagues will be poured out and for those who are blind open your eyes it is upon you, those who run to Christ and Hide under his wings will be protected but those who take the mark of humanistic indoctrinations will have all the vials pour out on them. The purification of the body is now. spot remover is being applied, if you take offense to this word let that be a sign to you, Judgment has begun in Gods house.

The book of Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus Christ...and that's a good thing, not what we have been taught all our lives. Wheat in the Bible represents the death of Christ (except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die...). Barley (the firstfruits grain) represents the resurrection. Oil represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit and wine the blood of the new covenant. If there is any famine at all, it is a famine of hearing of the Word of God. No famine of the bread though (Amos).

Paul made it clear that it would be at the LAST trump that the dead in Christ would rise. Revelation shows they came out of great tribulation having made their garments white by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. There already is a famine for food (the rightly divided word of truth) in the world as scriptureas are twisted to please people rather than God. The devil has great wrath on the remnant remaining. It is when the 7th trump sounds, not prior.

Lynn; God's chosen isn't going to be here when this famine takes place, it is for the ones left behind. Are you storing food, just in case you are here?

Moderator - The church has always taught Christians would be here. Only in recent times through Darby have Christians believed in the pre-tribulation rapture versus mid or post rapture.

Josheph and Noah were both great examples for us. So is the ant. They all store food. You should too.

Yes I do. In 2 Kings 8:1, Elisha is prophecing about this famine sent by God, Mt 24:7, Acts 11:28, Rev 6:5-8. In Amos, it is talking about people will thirst and hunger for bread, meaning that they shall seek the word (bread) of God and shall not find it. That is totally different than the famine that you asked about. Yes it will be world-wide.

Don't camp at the sign. Go to where the sign is pointing. You wouldn't camp at a Holiday Inn sign would you? No. You would go to where the sign points.
