My husband is a cross dresser. It has and still is very difficult to live with. I did not handle the discovery of this very well and made some foolish decisions not realising that it was the devils work and not my husbands. God brought me through the "wrong decision" and I am so grateful. It helps to pray in the spirit binding the evil spirits and loosing the spirits which will help him overcome these urges. I will not accept what he does nor support him in cross dressing although I have said I WILL support him to come out of it. I fear for his salvation and that is what keeps me going. |

I would pray that God will show him the truth and the light of what he is doing. It is good that he goes to church, maybe there he will be convicted of this sin and be converted over unto God. By no means shune him away, people (including you) need to love him in. But if your brother shouts, praises God and claims to be a christian, keep in mind that he isn't a christian, because of his lifesyle. But God still loves him, no matter what he does. |

For those of you who don't understand what I said, I will say it in a way that you can. I don't always do the things I know I should do. For example instead of watching t.v. I should be reading my bible, for I am putting the t.v before God. And I know better. But a person can't eat at the Lords table and at Satan's table as well. Meaning a person can't lie all day long and in the next breath start praising God. It don't work that way. |

I would speak to him priviatly about this matter showing scripture about how man shouldn't dress like a woman, if he still claims to be Christian & not do anything, that is between him & God, but next I'd take a witness or address the Pastor because the flock does not need to be strayed away or have people in there to be strayed, but I'd pray & take it to the Lord. |

Your statement stands directly opposed to I Cor 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but GOD IS FAITHFUL, who will NOT suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; BUT WILL with the temptation also MAKE A WAY TO ESCAPE, that ye may be able to bear it.

I have not said that this man IS a Christian, I simply say we must not use one individual sin as a basis to judge whether he is or not. Regarding Christians and sin - wasn't it Paul who said "I am the chiefest of sinners"? When did he say this - before or after he was saved? B.T.W. did Jesus sin UNwillingly as you say you do? |

There is a lot more that goes on besides the wearing of the womens clothing. The whole thing culminates in self gratification. This is a lifesyle, not just a once in a while happening. There can be freedom from this by repentance. |

Fred S. is right in quoting scriptures concerning the blog question. Has your brother been witnessed to? Does he know we all have sinned, we must repent and believe in Jesus as his saviour in order to be saved. Going to church is good, but it doesn't save us. |

M.P. a person who lies, swear, etc can't be a christian. A Christian means to be Christ-like. How can a person swear, lie among other things be Christ-like? This man isn't a christian in God's eyes, because it is wrong for this man to dress this way. Where do you get your information from? |

I think he needs to be shown that scripture states that he should not dress in this way but the fact that he does so does not prove that he is not a Christian, maybe he isn't but don't use this as the proof of that. I know Christians who lie, swear, gossip etc. This makes them no less Christians but they are sinning, as is this young man. Perhaps he doesn't realise that this is wrong so lovingly tell him and take it from there. |
