One of my favorite parts in the Bible is when Adam is hidding from God and God plays along (my words) and asks him "where are you?" He knows what you are ashamed about already, do you? Ask him for his forgiveness. Please.

I believe God has forgiven all of my sins, past, present anf future. My confession of sin is for my mind to be freed from the shame you are experiencing. That shame is from the devil, and he wants you to wallow in your shame and not experiencing the freedom that comes from Christ's blood on the cross. Open up to the Lord and tell Him what is going on. Experience God's boundless grace and forgiveness. Rejoice in it. Praise Him for it. Thank Him for it. Love Him for it.

When I got saved there was one sin that I thought was far too bad for God to have forgiven. I was wrong though, for God forgave me all of my sins when I got saved. Praise Him.

Nothing more beautiful and that has given me so much peace to know that He knows everything about me when you talk to Him and tell 'you saw it already, I cant hold it anymore I've done this and that', and you confess, there is love in response He says he doesnt want sacrifice but a broken heart. Bible says: he who doest confess his sin will not prosper. confession is for our freedom,a blessing. So, my dear one: go to your Father's Arms! Dont run away from Him, but run TO HIM! Thats just what you need.

God will forgive ANY sin as long as you confess and repent (turn away from) it. If you do not do this, then you are opening the door for Satan to take control over you, and demons to possess you. God already knows what you did, and He still loves you. Just confess it and it will be erased from you.

Michelle, I understand such feelings since I have struggled with the same thing. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin in order to be reconciled with God when we accept Jesus and ask forgiveness. The enemy uses guilt to keep us from the Lord. Remember God loves you and desires a relationship with you so has provided the way. His longing is for you

Take John T's advice.
Its not as if your sins will surprise God, He knows everything about you. He was there when you sinned. He loves you and aches for you to ask for forgiveness. He is faithful to forgive all our sins when we ask in sincerity. Go and sin no more. God bless.

Ask God to forgive every sin in your life, and when you are serious in your returning to the Lord, then he will forgive you and you will not sin again. But if you keep your sins from him, then you can never be restored. Remember what David said in PSALM 32 when he kept silent and hid his wrong from the Lord, and then how blessed he became after he confessed his wrong. You can confess your shame to him in prayer and ask him to please forgive you and to help you to be more than an conqueror in Jesus.

Michelle, I find your question rather weird. We should be ashamed of any sin we commit but never ashamed to confess it and ask for forgiveness.
---A_Catholic on 4/12/06

The good news is that you know how bad you were, and truly underserving of the mercy of Jesus. The GREAT news is that you can be forgiven entirely. Pray this:

Jesus, I know that I have done ____ and ___ and I am a sinner, but I you to forgive me for these and more, come into my heart, and be my Savior. Amen

Tell us what happens next

michelle, there isn't anything that God has not seen a million times before. he already knows your sins anyway.
---randy on 4/12/06

There is no need to be ashamed before God. He knows you from your mothers womb.He saw you as you committed those sins.Just humbly seek His face.He is faithful and just.

Dear sweet person, please don't be too ashamed to ask for God's forgiveness. He knows what they are anyway. There were sins in my life I was ashamed of, but I know they are covered under the blood. If everyone would tell the truth, we all have sins we are very ashamed of. Shira

Well if you don't ask for forgiveness, then God can't forgive you. There are things that I have done that I am now ashamed of what I done, but I asked God to forgive me and I know that he did. It is Satan that makes you feel that you are not worthy of forgiveness. But in order to be forgiven, you need to ask for forgiveness.

Michelle,
First of all realize that nothing is hidden from Him. He knows already.

Second, there is no need to confess sins individualy. Our confession is that we are a sinner. Our plea is that He wash us in the blood of the Lamb. All of us. If you are a Christian, you are forgiven.
Read I John.
Isaiah 1:18, "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
