Is Sickness Related To Diet
Is Sickness related to what we eat? Rod Parsley had Dr. Ted Broer on his show and I'm convinced cancer comes from the foods we eat. Are you convinced sickness can indeed come from the chemicals in foods we eat? What did Jesus eat to stay healthy?
Moderator - Of course some cancers are caused by what we eat, drink and expose our bodies to.

A lot of foods contain carcinogens. The more processed the food, the greater the risk, because of the additives that are there.

Deut 23 is not a separate verse ...it's rather a verse linked whith the fact that anyone obeying his law(including the dietary law) would have his/her food blessed....that blessing doesn't came without the obedience of God law...

Some sicknesses are related to diet. For example, those with diabetes have to be careful with their carbohydrates. People with high cholesterol or triglycerides need to avoid certain foods.

One of the greatest causes of sickness is stress. There are a lest 4 factors that need to be brought under control to manage stress: Correct attitude, nurition, exercise and spiritual input. Having these things in a proper balance doesn't mean you won't get sick, but it sure reduces your odds of sickness. For example: if you worry about nutrutional intake, the stress of worry may also make you sick even though you may be eating a balanced diet.

No doubt some sickness comes from food and polluted air. The chemicals in the soil, and sprayed on the crops are poison! Not to mention the anti biotics and steroids that are injected into animals. Not much is safe to eat!
I'll stick to my dark chocolate diet! :)

Of course our diet affects every thing in our bodies. If we would eat fresh uncooked green and yellow vegetables, we probably would never have cancer. Jesus ate broiled fish. Shira

In Jesus's day, they did not have all the pestisides, preservatives, or artificial flavorings that in our food today. If they can make a twinkie last for 10 years, it can not be good for the body. Go organic now-a-days.
