Thank you Debbie,

We will know and understand not to long from now. Jesus is coming soon! Praise the Lord! One thing we can all agree on is HE IS LORD!

"Man" represents the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. "Child" represents the fact that He comes forth of the woman. The intent of Jesus being the Bridegroom is for His nature to be reproduced through His Bride. That is why the son here is called a manchild.
---Linda6563 on 5/7/06

#3 Josef, The manchild can't be Jesus because this takes place during the middle of the tribulation. He has already been born, died, and resurrected. He is seated in the heavenlies with His Father. The manchild is that, a child, a youth; Christ was full grown when He was resurrected, full of knowledge and wisdom. God bless you for being open enough receive another explanation. May God give you revelation knowledge of His Word.

#2 josef, In Rev. 7, we hear of the 144,000, they are not seen before the throne until Rev. 14. When do they arrive in Heaven? We have to look between Rev. 7 & 14. They can only be possibly found on Rev. 12. "The Remnant of her seed" Rev. 12:17 is the manchild. Is. 66:7 - Isaiah is writing about Israel. Rev. 14:1-5; Christ will rule the nations with all authority (Ps. 2); the 144,000 will rule with Him and other glorified Saints.

#1 josef, I will try. Rev. 12:1-4 - This is not actually a woman but a sign-woman. God likens His people to a woman. Is. 54:6 - The Church is likened to a woman - II Cor. 11:2. The woman was first seen in Heaven; but, after giving birth to her child, she is seen on earth. Rev. 12:6, 13-17.The woman in Heaven with clothing & crown constitute all believers who will be in Heaven just before the middle of the week. Rev. 12:5 - Just as the woman is a sign-woman, so is the man-child a sign man-child.

By the way Debbie, and this is not to contradict you, what ever one believes to be true is for that one truth. And who am I to argue another's truth. However it has always been my understanding that the man child of Rev. 12:5 is Christ. As documented in REV. 19:15,16 and Ps. 2:7-9. If I am missing it. please enlighten me.
---josef on 5/6/06

I apologize Debbie. I thought we were in agreement that the all of the called of The Father will be on earth until the seven trump. My mistake.

The Church of Laodicea is present at about the middle of the week, it is still part of the Church. There are no translations from this group, they will either be martyred or preserved. The remnant are Jewish, just as the 144,000 of Rev. 12. the 144,000 is the man child and are Jewish, the 12 stars in her crown, 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes at the end of the age. These are transitional saints.

Excellent point Debbie. And it is that laodicean condition that The Anti-christ will pursue with a flood of deceptions that issues forth from his mouth to overwhelm and confuse them. Rev. 12:14,15. However as Ezuchuh has pointed out by scripture, there will be a remnant that will swallow up that flood and overcome it with the truth of The Fathers Word. ver.16. Here is the patience of the saints: They that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus

If you will notice, the church at Ephesus and the Laodicean Church are the first and last churches mentioned. They are the only two churches mentioned else where in the Bible. Ephesus was in existence in the beginnig of the Church Age and speaks of the conditions of the day. The Laodiceans condition will be present at the end of the age.

Daniel 7:25 And he(anti-christ) shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.Daniel 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they (the saints )shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.Daniel 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Good point Debbie. You leave your first love, Jesus, and it's all downhill from there no matter how you are increased with wealth or anything else.
---Linda6563 on 5/4/06

If you study the 7 churchs, you will notice that they each degenerate in condition and reward except for the Smyrna and Philadelphia church. Ephesus had the most truth, the Judge can find only one fault - she left her "preeminent love." Then its the Pergamos and Sardis church which are pretty much on the same level, then the Thyatira Church and then the Laodicean Church. Read and meditate.

I agree with Exzucuh, Jesus is speaking to the church in its entirety, both collectively and individually. He is speaking to us concerning our own individual state of mind. Telling us to look within ourselves. To awake to the righteousness which is of the Father through Him by faith. We are to Lay aside the traditions of man and allow our focus to remain fix and open to understanding the Fathers message to us.

Recently I heard an excellent sermon. The sermon was well-planned well thought out and well deliver, then of course this being a Baptist church, it became time for the invitation. Never have I heard a poorer, weaker, ineffectual call unto salvation. Yet this church averages about two baptisms a week. Still this just goes to show that I don't know very much about invitations.

"Moderator - There is the remnant church and the apostate church. In many parts of the country it is difficult to even locate a remnant church of believers. I wish it wasn't the case."

Just remember that Father God's vision reaches all the way to the end result. If we have His vision, we can not only see what He sees, we can run with it.
---Linda6563 on 5/2/06

"Moderator - I wish that were true, however according to scripture the church today is almost totally apostate."

Not the church I know and can see :)

Amen Excuzuh. Unlike those who believe that the church is nothing but a lukewarm entity to be spewed out of the mouth of God, I believe she is finally rousing from her sleep to behold the Lamb and to find she has a new husband and there is a new kingdom, a "new world order :)", a new mind, and a new body and that it is not all "out there in the sweet by and by" or being given to another people.

Moderator - I wish that were true, however according to scripture the church today is almost totally apostate.

I look at the seven churches the same way I look at the children of Israel. I learn from their mistakes. revelation was written to the 7 churches and was fulfilled quickly concerning them, Jesus is speaking to the church today if it will listen. He is saying Arise awaken from your slumber, get hold of my covenant, and began to destroy the dominion of the enemy.
