Tell us just what the near death experience was, Linda, and what did yo see of heaven?

I had a complete death experience when I was born again and saw more than just a glimpse of heaven.

I haven't had a near death experience, but God gave me a vision of what heaven will be like. I have never felt so much peace as I did then. what I seen seemed so unreal, it was hard for me to grasp what I saw and it is real. And that I will be there someday.

Nope, Linda I'm not the questor. Just wanted to know if other's have had near death experiences and saw what they believe to be a glimpse of heaven.

I was "blue bagged" after a heart attack. I was "out" for 15 minutes. When a nurse suddenly said O NO!! Jumped on me and begin to resuscitate me. Doctors told my wife we got him back, we have great fear as to his capacities . All my friend asked me what did you see? And here is the answer. I saw nothing at all that I remember. I really wish I had more room to explain all this but let it suffice to say, today people commonly call me," miracle man".

"(and it was I feel a bit impertinent for you to suggest I would not understand)"

Where did I suggest this ^? Are you "questor" or "EJ"? If you signed your name as someone else, it would stand to reason why I would make such a suggestion. And my suggestion wasn't impertinence. It was a challenge to search the Scriptures if the poster didn't understand. If I had known it was you, I wouldn't have suggested it because I know that you know what I am talking about.

Alan, I answered the only way I knew how. It was the original poster who asked me to elaborate. So I did. Jesus' death for and as me and my experience of that when I received Him is the only death I know now.

Linda ... I understand perfectly what you are talking about. It happens commonly to those who are born again (and it was I feel a bit impertinent for you to suggest I would not understand) But it has nothing whatsoever to do with the question, which clearly refers to a physical near-death experience. At least that is what I understood what EJ was asking. Maybe I was wrong.

Oh...what I saw of heaven was my hope and my inheritance laid up for me there in the presence of God (Heb.6:19). My hope is not heaven (Col.1:5, 1 Peter 1:4). My hope is the glory (or appearing) of the Christ in me (Col.1:27, Titus 2:13, Col.3:4).

I didn't say "near death". I said "complete death".

My old man died and I awoke a new creation.

Romans 6, 2 Cor.5:17, Eph.2:,2,5,6; Col.3:3; Gal.2:20; et al.

I guess you could say I was "caught up".

I challenge you to read those Scriptures and find out what I am talking about.
