Tommy, you are so right. I hear many here have even saved many. Seems they are going to great extremes to take some credit here. I know many don't mean wrong, and are witnessing in many places, which is awesome, but they have to remember it is the Spirit who brings life. People are looking for ways to bring others to Christ, when all they have to do is follow the Spirit, where He is working is where we should be working.

There is only one way to do it and that is to jump in the deep end. Give out pamphlets, drop it into the conversation, start up a conversation with a stranger on the train. Or, at the other end, take a video camera in a small team into the streets and interview people - asking them if they know the Ten Commandments is a good start off. I saw a video on you tube of this being done. It was great. They were trying to convert a Satanist.

There is no formula for "winning" people to Christ. We are to sow the seeds, that is declare the gospel, the Holy Spirit does the winning. We don't have to worry about the end results, just deliver the message.

"I plant, Apollos waters, but God gives the increase."

Can you please find the formula "win [people] for Christ" in the Bible? Give book, chapter, and verse, please.

Beloved. Don't worry about how many people you have won to Christ. We won't know the number until we get to Heaven. Then it doesn't really matter. Just keep on working for Christ and winning souls. That's what truly matters. Keep living a saved and sanctified life and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ as we are commanded to do. Everything will work out alright.

not enough, numbers aren't the end all answer to who is spiritual. a christian in a muslem country will probably have fewer converts than a personin a so-called christian country. Most Christians just go with the flow not caring about others. we need a revivle of theLord ship of Christ,I know i do.

Probably about 700 or so. It is a wondeful feeling to know that you have rescued somone eternally. What bothered me in the past was that I would win them and the pastor would do the baptizing. That doesn't happen anymore becasue I'm the pastor now. LOL. It gives me great joy to see people baptize their own converts.

None that I know of.... I am a seed planter. It is extremely important to tell the lost about Jesus and I just love doing it. When I get to heaven I will see just how many of those seeds got watered. It is God who saves, not me. I would just love to be raptured holding the hand of a person who has just finished saying the sinner's prayer!!! Oh wow how good that would be ... we would go together.

Go unto all the world and make disciples of men teaching what I have told you, and baptise them in the name of the father ,son , holy ghost and ye I ,am with until the end of time.pretty important don,t you think?sounds like a command to me.

Many. It is the most important thing in my life. It should be every Christians number one priority. I know where I'm going, but what concerns me is where the others are going.

Jack took the scripture right out of my mouth, thank you Jack. I will also add that "NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER unless the Father draws Him." I plant seeds, I love people, I don't judge them, I give them money, I buy them gifts, and two athesists said because of the way I talk about God, they now believe there is a God out there. That's a start, right?

It is very important that we show the love of Christ through our lives so that others will want what they see we have. God gives us opportunities which we should use but these can be very varied. Just the way we respond to someone who is aggressive, the way we treat the underdog, the way we help those in need can all speak as much as when we actually give our testimony or quote scripture. We must be lead by Him to reach the lost, and not just 'do our own thing'.

I agree with josef. I don't count decisions for Christ the way others do. I get the feeling that some people count them like notches on a belt, or hash marks on a military uniform. What is important to me is not the number of people who make a decision, but "Am I being a faithful witness to those around me, of the love and grace that was given to me in Christ through His blood?" "Is the fruit of the Spirit evident in my life?"

No one. I am not able. I must decrease, He must increase. My place is to lift Him up in my life and allow His presence to made apparent in and thru me, that is for me, extremely important. He will draw all those that the Father has given Him to himself.
