Who Is Considered Wicked

Who is considered the wicked in the bible? It is unsaved folks who deny Jesus AND is it Christians who call themselves Christians but live like the devil? Can they be considered the wicked also?

Moderator - Any person who isn't a true Christian is wicked.

Anyone who twist God's Word. Even Pat.
---dan on 3/5/08

Moderator is correct IMHO. Wickedness is the natural state of natural man. All men are born into this state, and can only escape it by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior.
---Mima on 3/5/08

Yes. Doing nothing with what you have is also wicked. [Matt. 25:24-26]. >>>Sinful, evil, worthless, without value, wrong, cruel, malignant. [Ps. 9:16,2 Thess. 3:2]

oh, so Pat Robertson is wicked for he twist the information to fit his own opinion.
---mikehow on 3/5/08

Wicked is anything that twist or twist from the Word the Father has given us to embrace, to know the truth of His word and ignore it or consider it worthless.

Yes, who is the judge....Who is the Truth are we here to get God? Stuff? inbeded or to all come together and hope for the best! and trash the rest! I just do not agree that what is said here really means anything that u do not already know as a human being!

Is all the anti-Catholic bashing on this blog wicked? Especially when Catholics are not allowed to defend thier faith. When Protestants use this blog to brainwash others about Catholicism.
I am not pointing the finger at anyone (i don't know anyone here personally anyway) but i object to all the anti-Catholic propaganda on this website. It is unnfair and immoral.

Mod: I know a person who is not a Christian and this person is not 'evil'.
---sue on 4/4/07

Moderator - who is a TRUE Christian? Because I know lots of folks who think they are, but are living against God's word (not doing what it says to do). Being unequally yoked together, holding resentment towards family members, filled with horrible pride but won't admit it, so can you please define TRUE. I am confused just who the wicked are. Was I wicked before I was saved? Because I was very brokenhearted and wanted desperately why I was put here on earth.

Moderator - Yes, all the conditions you listed would be of ungenerate people that don't truly know God and are hell bound regardless if they think they are Christians. Take the apostate, pagan, cult, false teacher and false tradition Bible quizzes to see what the Bible says.

I looked up the word wicked in greek and it means a lawless transgressor.

They break the law basically. Which law?
1 John 3:4 "sin is the transgression of the law."
Romans 7:7 "...Thou shall not covet"

Its the ten commandments. As we repent from sin the law tells us what sin is and we stay away from it and abide by the law. Jesus never sinned once so we too are not to sin.

donna, Evil is explained in Ezekiel 18:10-13. "Or know you all not that wrong will not inherit kingdom of God? Be not deluded: neither whores, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor softies, nor male-couplings, nor thieves, nor greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor robbers will inherit kingdom of God. And such things some of you were; but you all are washed, but you all are sanctified, but you all are justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." I Corinthians 6:9-11.

Eloy, define evil. You said "their deeds are evil." What do you and everyone else consider evil because I think a man who calls himself a Christian and has a root of bitterness in his heart towards his own son, but won't admit it (even though it's obvious) and that same man having a spirit of Pride, to me, that's evil. He needs to repent. However, he says he is fully saved, and walking with Jesus. So who is the wicked? I still don't know.....
---Donna9759 on 5/15/06

Eloy; "am vague to those who have no understanding, but very clear to those who do" The theology is not vague,-I do have 'understanding' of it- it is crystal clear. If one can defend it, it should be expounded on.
---MikeM on 5/15/06

mikem, I am vague to those who have no understanding, but very clear to those who do. Those who deny Christ and also those who are hypocrites, both are wicked.
---Eloy on 5/15/06

I did not say thinking about it is sin - what ever "it" is. I was pointing out the wrong attitude that the murderer is any greater a sinner than the rest of us. God's grace is greater than any sin. Paul was a murderer and look how God used him. Read the story of the ungrateful servant if you want to see how God view it. Matt 18:23-35
---Bruce5656 on 5/14/06

Eloy, your rhetorically vague, but in a sweet way.

Mina; downright outrageous? That theology creates a paradigm in which God is rendered more capricious than a million Hitlers. I worship a loving God, not one the embodiement of a million Hitlers.

Bruce5656 says even thinking about it is a sin.

It is both, those who deny Christ, and those who "say" they are of Christ, but their deeds are evil.
---Eloy on 5/14/06

MikeM. Nothing wrong with the picture/theology accepted goes against our conventional wisdom. We just don't like it, we think it's unfair, unjust, and downright outrageous. But I think we should remember his ways are not our ways.
---mima on 5/14/06

Mike,
The problem is that anyone thinking there is a problem with that thinks that what the murderer has done is worse than their own sin.
---Bruce5656 on 5/14/06

Murderer kills a 10 year old boy. Murderer goes to prison. Murderer gets saved in prison before he gets hanged. Wicked murdered boy is in hell, Murderer is in heaven. With all seriousness whats wrong with this picture/theology?

I like Mikefl's answer.

I believe all on earth are wicked and condemned to death. The caviat is that A saviour, Christ the Lord lived, died, and lives again to forgive the sins of those who would believe in Him (The Word of God). Paul said "I die daily.." for his fleshly ways. Let mortality put on immortality...
