Mt 24:32-34 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Yes, I believe this is the last generation. The fig tree speaks of Israel. It began as a nation in 1948, the tender branches of the fig tree. I am waiting to see Him in the clouds.

first off "jesus" isn't coming any where! Yahushua is! and yes it is the last generation! yahushua said so. he said that the generation who saw ALL these things would not die OFF and the sign was when we saw jerusalem surrounded by armies plural
then we were to look up! at the moment jerusalem is not surrounded by armies but just you wait! any day now!! tribulation will begin we are in the birthpangs stage!! as birthpangs increase so will the terror!

Not sure about last generation. I do believe I'll see Jesus come (I'm 52). Based on biblical prophesy there are none left that would hinder Jesus from coming back this moment. Regardless, if it's this minute or 50 years - can you afford not to be ready?

That is impossible to say. All I do know is that we are living in the last days, and that we are living in the time of the Great Apostasy. Time with the Lord is different ... one day is as a thousand years with Him.

Each generation believes them to be the 'last'. My mom, who is almost 90, says the same stuff is happening now, as stated in the Bible, as it happened 100 yrs. ago. Regardless, I sure hope it's soon.

Mima I have always wondered how do you figure a biblical generation, where did you get 70 years from? after the flood in the old testament God said man should not live no more than 120 years so I was always just figured it was 120 years.
---eliza4969 on 5/25/06

Mimi,
I agree with you. I believe in your explanation. With that said, we better be ready, awake, looking, praying, reaching the lost. We need to see heaven populated with souls.

Now 58 years and one week pass the reestablishment of the state of Israel,(Shall a nation be born in a day?) Israel was.(which I consider the most important fulfillment of prophecy in the Bible) the generation that saw all this begin should see the end. And if a generation is not over 70 years within the next 12 years completes the last generation. Yes we are the last generation.

The first generation of Christians believed they were the LAST earthly generation, as can be seen in several passages in the NT.

There was a constant expectation of an imminent Parousia.

We are, however, 2000 years closer to it.

What does it matter if it is or not? Live everyday like He is coming tomorrow. If you do then it wont matter if He comes tomorrow or if you meet Him when your body is 6 feet under.
---Daniel on 5/19/06

Yes I do. Look around, watch the news, read the Bible

While it is wrong to say without doubt, assuredly, that one knows when Jesus is coming, I believe that it is most probable that this is the last generation given the fulfillment ofprophecy concerning the last days. I think Jesus will return sometime between 15 to 30 years from now. (speculations!)

No, it isn't.
