Is Kim Clement A Prophet

I enjoy listening to kim Clement. He is a wonderful prophet of God. Why aren't people open to the prophet of God?

Kim Clement is a false prophet.
He is part of a larger movement of false
prophets. (prophetic movement, including
Bill Hamon, Rick Joyner, Francis Frangipane,
Steve Shultz of the Elijah List, etc)

But Baptists in America also promote
a "once saved" heresy and compromise
truth often with Catholics who lack
obedience in the world. So Baptist
pastors are pretty corrupt themselves.

Many people today state how corrupt
the prophetic movement is but Baptist
pastors for the most part go unrebuked.

It is warned that people would gather
preachers to teach them lies. 2 Timothy
4:1-4

This is the state of America's church in 2009.

I love Kim Clement. I have not been able to pick up his programming on tv lately but I believe he is a true man of God. He comes to Texas almost every year and his gatherings are so awesome and spirit-filled. His singers and backup group is great. I am also on his mailing list.
---Robyn on 9/11/07

My experience was a positive one. It was a life and death situation.
In 20 years, I have had some false prophecies from women's conferences and people claiming to be a prophet.
I'm not going to besmirch Kim Clement's ministry, because it blessed me and my family. He received very little money from those meetings in 1988. It was a small church, young adults, attending college. He basically had a place to stay, and that was it.
---Rachel on 9/11/07

Clement asks for donations and has no problem taking from the poor. UNGODLY! I have read his prophecies and some of his visions seem like God trying to speak but then HE interprets in his marshmellow language and so dilutes the message if there was in fact a message or vission at all. Allot of these guys read other high dollar prophecies and spin theirs off ot them.Their visions don't come true and they are false proph's

I think there is a distinct difference btw a Prophet and having the gift of prophecy.

And I don't like when people call themselves 'Prophet' as opposed to someone who says God has given them a 'word of knowledge' or 'wisdom'.
Anything that puts the focus on the person and off of God (or makes God look bad) doesn't sound like the work of the Holy Spirit.
Paul was clear prophecy was not to be despised but we all know we have to know from whom the word is comong from.
Yes - they can err
---Andrea on 9/11/07

No true prophet of God makes money of God's prophecies. Kim Clement is now very rich after selling his propheies on CD's. No true prophet of God does this. I know that for a fact. God's prophecies aren't money makers.
---Matthew_from_LA on 9/11/07

Your response to God determines whether or not you will enter the promise He gave you. You have been given the right to determine whether or not His intention for your life will come to pass. You are responsible for your future and there is nothing anyone can say that will change it, especially if you are determined to walk another course in life. God leaves the matter in your hands and He then responds accordingly.

I guess I'll just have to post this again. A man can be a prophet of God and still miss the mark, for instance, in Acts there was a prophet named Agabus who gave a word to Paul. Now he got the main idea of the prophecy right, but missed on the details. The scripture is in Acts 21 starting with verse 10. Agabus said the Jews would bind Paul's hands and deliver him to the Gentiles, but actually it was the Gentiles that bound him up and took him away.

When someone says "This is what God says" and then tells you something that wasn't true.. that's how you know they are not actually speaking for God.

Practice doesn't make perfect in prophecy. When God speaks, it's perfect.
---Ryan on 3/26/07

Today's true prophets does not fortell the future. Today's prophets gives the most powerful messages and we are noted for condemning sin. The Bible tells you everything you need to know about your future. yes.
---catherine on 3/24/07

I think the reason people don't listen to him is because too many of the things he prophesied didn't happen (or worse the opposite happened). This kinda guy causes unbelievers to scoff at God and Christians to deny the true prophetic gifts.
---Ryan on 3/23/07

No, Men can't raise up armies of prophets, but the laying on of hands is biblical. This practice was and is used to impart healing, annointing and spitiual giftings. It's totally biblical. If you read the Bible for yourself you'll know. You'll find it scattered throughout the New Testiment. I just can't think of any passages off the top of my head, Except Hebrews chapter 6 which calls the laying on of hands a foundational principle.

Dave, why do you call yourself a horse's patoot? Anyway, that's we're here for, to lift each other up. God created us to need each other. Some of you may call me a heratic for saying this, but God is not all we need. If that were the case, he wouldn't have needed to create Eve. We were made to need eachother.

One last thing, Michael. The longer I'm around the Christians, I realize what's been missing out of my life. I've grown so fond of you all. I love you all so much.
You light up my life, you give me hope, to carry on. Kisses everyone.

I enjoy listening to Kim Clement. when he comes to Houston I sometimes go out to his gatherings, which are usually spirit filled. I take his word for it. He knows how God is dealing with him. We do not know that. God deals with each of us on different levels. If he is a false prophet he will have to answer to God for that and not to us.

Kathr, people say kim has a low lvl of accuracy to them b/c they expect each prophecy to be exactly what they think it will be, when in fact it usually(most of the time) isnt...it may be completely different than what is first thought of or conceived...
---mark on 2/25/07

Hamon states, In 1977 God spoke to me says, I want you to start raising up a company of prophets and start (menacing) the leadership. Hamon wants to raise-up an army of prophets (which he has by laying hands on thousands throughout out the world), Clement is a part of this prophetic army. Hamon believes prophets can have a low percentage of accuracy not needing to be 100% correct. Clement has this same theological construct with a low success as a prophet, admitting he has missed it a number of times.

Kim Clement claimed you don't have to be born again to be saved. Actually he claims you are born again when you finally get into heaven. He also doesn't believe in repenting of sins. He says that believers should focus on the gifts God gave every believer before he was born more than repenting of sins. He also claims at the moment he was baptized he heard God in an AUDIBLE voice tell him he is going to be a prophet.

All the witchcraft propaganda in the world will not torment religious spirits. When that prophecy comes to pass, you would be a Christian that has a knowledge of the Word. The Word is Jesus Christ. Witchcraft is a vexation to your soul, and until your deliverance comes, it is tormenting your thoughts. Witchcraft may be your badge of honor in your inner circle, but the witchcraft you are promoting will destroy you in the life hereafter. There is no reincarnation. You will not come back.
---Cindy on 12/4/06

Fulfillment of prophecy is contingent upon you. You have the option to turn from your witchcraft and follow Jesus. Then you could lay claim to your prophecy. It requires a decision. If you spend the rest of your life defending the green path of enlightenment, your influence will have been in vain. The day you lay witchcraft down, is the day your prophecy will begin to pass. But you cannot have both ways, God's kingdom doesn't work that way.
---Cindy on 12/4/06

There is also the human element that can cause a prophecy to fail. The requirement and responsiblity a person has to be obedient to God. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Without that, no matter how many prophecies have been spoken, they will not come to pass.

its how U said Bible bites not to be funny but to make fun. The blog "can 1 date a witch" U tell, Kim C. has spoken the prophetic word over U saying "U would torment religious spisits". That is false because only a few blogs down U are yelling no 1 will convert me I am a Jew, my Jewish heritage. So That prophesy failed nor did it bring down the Druid, Pagan, Wicca wall either. I told U Rachel U are cherished valued by Jesus remember that instead of all these other so called voices.

Shiela, Shana and Jeanne

The Term "Bible Bites" is used as an expression to refer to the Bible being divided into verses of chapters. Of course we don't eat a book, but we do take in the knowledge. Often I think of Reading in terms of Drinking or Eating, perhaps because, I almost always read with brewed herbal tea...but please forgive the analogy, since it caused so much offense.

I read here a Jew, fine I understand they can mesh since I was that exact mix before I came to Christ. U know I studied the Kabala. Why do U say Bible bites to her? Rachel ... If by Allen you meant me, please rest assured that I have absolutely nothing against Kim Clement. In fact I know nothing about him, except the claims that have been made on his behalf on this blog.
I had never heard of him before.
It's just that I thought that what Virginia mentioned was hardly proof of someone's prophetic power
---AlanUK_quent5969 on 11/18/06

Matthew 7:15-17 says you can notice false prophets by their fruits. I don't know how much of Kim Clements daily life any given person can see. If you get a chance to observe it though the answer should be there. I understand some people who are false even in their seen life appears good but in their personal life bad fruit lies. Like fruit from secret sins. Secret sins however always reveal themselves(sometimes not until death) so time will also tell.
---Matthew on 11/18/06

The defense of the prophetic here sounds more like witchcraft than a gift from God. I believe it has probably caused more damage than skepticism could. Any gift from God can be perverted, distorted, and taken to extremes. Then again, that is the enemy's intent, to destroy the prophetic. That was/is Jezebel's mission.

Shana,

I should not be the one to call you manipulative, when in fact, I manipulate, sometimes without even realizing it! I would like for you to forgive me for using that word on you. Quite honestly Rachel, my intention was not to convert you. I identify with Judaism and since my mother is Jewish I am, in fact, a Jew. The tone of my message changed because the topic changed. I am offended that you have assumed that I was being manipulative. If we begin talking about KC again you will find the same type of reaction. You will not be able to convince me without Biblical proof, whether it be from the OT or NT.

I read back through my posts, I didn't find them sweet, soft, compelling, enticing, devisive, or inviting you into a trap. For months you've been defending Kim Clement, we asked why. This is just very important to me because once we proclaim someone to be a prophet of God then that person potentially has a lot of control/influence over our lives. Rachel, I have to be honest with you. I find your way of interacting with people quite passive aggressive and unbecoming. As for me, I agree with you regarding the fact that you can gain insight and understanding through others, even non-Christians. The issue is that unless it aligns with the Bible it is false. RReiter, that helps. In Rev 19:10, it says 'the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.' Jesus spoke the Father's words. All biblical prophecy points to Jesus. Jesus is the initiator of prophecy and all prophecy should point back to Jesus. When you glorify man, it usurps Jesus. You've described with your senses the feelings you have about the prophetic. Dear Rachel, for prophecy to be true it must never exalt the man. Your descriptions have exalted man and it gives us a sick feeling in our senses.

R.Reiter, I don't know if you are related to Kim Clement. I wonder if Kim Clement would appreciate this mystical sounding reasoning, that sounds more new agey than prophetic. Less admiration for the man, and more Word will keep you alive here.

You are right. A prophet is not perfect and will make mistakes. However, when a prophet is prophesizing in the name of God, he/she is delivering a "message" directly from God, who is perfect and all knowing. In order to believe that a true prophet of God can make prophecies that dont come true, one would have to be willing to claim that God can make mistakes and be wrong.
