End Time Judgements

Are they're two separate judgments, one for those who die lost and another for those who die saved? Or is there just one general judgment for everyone lost and saved?

#1 - In Rev. 1-3, we see Jesus, the righteous Judge walking among the candlesticks, the seven churches. These 7 churches represent the spiritual conditions present during the whole church age. Jesus is judging His church right now, therefore we won't be judged later. 1Cor 11:31,32 - For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

#2 We will stand before His judgment seat to receive rewards not punishments. On the other hand the wicked will be judged and eternally sentenced.

ROM 14:10-12 We all must stand before the Judge but we need not be afraid if we have lived lives that reflected His life both being like Him and doing like Him. Our judge loves us and died for us. (2 COR 5:10) TBC

Everyone will be judged according to their actions, thoughts and words on Earth. The just and the unjust, the wicked and the righteous. Many people say they are saved and they will be rewarded for professing Christ. They are in for a rude awakening when Jesus says Not all those say unto me Lord Lord shall inherit the kingdom of God and then says depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Why, because they drew near to him with their lips, but their hearts were in the world and far from Him.

Is there a judgement for those who die saved?
---alan_do8869_of_UK on 4/15/07

All will be judged by God Saved or sinners. Every word that comes out of our mouth, we will be judged accordinly. These people that confess to be a Christian but yet do nothing for Christ, will be judged, just as a Pastor of a church whom follows Christ in every way and is a good shepherd.

Mima: Your description of the judgment leaves me confused. Would you mind rewriting it making it a bit clearer what you mean by the expression " not a judgment of salvation (a person's being lost or saved) but a judgment of rewards..." Thanks. P.

I like Helen's answer. And I believe the judgment seat of Christ will not be a judgment of salvation(a person's being saved or lost)but judgment of rewards for things done in a person's life after salvation has taken place.

The bible points out 5-basic judgements:
1. Christ for our sins(2Corinthians 5:21; 1Peter 2:24)
2. Believers according to works(2Corinthians 5:10; Romans 14:10)
3. Jews-(Jeremiah 30:4-7)-takes place during the 7yr. trib. period
4. Nations(Matthew 25:31-46)
5. Great White Throne(Revelation 20:11-12)

Alan the only Judgement the Saved will stand will be at the Judgement Seat of Christ to receive rewards and have our works tried by fire to prove what remains.
We were judged in Christ on Calvary when we accepted His sacrifice. We were crucified with Him yet we live in Him.

There is the Judgment Seat of Christ for all born-again believers. And there is the Great White Throne Judgment for all those who rejected Christ i.e. were not born-again.

Allan: The answer is yes! In fact know that by the time Jesus takes off His priestly robe and puts on His royal robe to return EVERYBODY WIlL HAVE BEEN JUDGED some to LIFE ETERNAL others to ETERNAL DEATH! 1st or 2nd resurrection! P.

J J Phase 2 I call it THE AUDIT. It is the time when the saints are invited to "judge" = audit the records of the lost for 1000 yrs. This tales place in heaven also.
J Phas 3 I call it THE EXTERMINATION. It is the time after the millenium when fire will destroy all the wicked UNTO DEATH not eternal suffering. P.

EX 32:31-33 seems to indicate that it is possible that some who have once accepted Jesus and whose names were written in the book of life will have their names blotted out because they have turned from Him to a life of sin. TBC

J3 DAN 7:9-10 presents the J scene as Daniel saw it in his vision. He saw the J take place at the end of time and in v14 he indicates that it began in heaven in 1844. (Review my blog on the 2300-Day prophecy)
