Are There Female Angels
Recently while witnessing a woman said to me, I once saw an angel and the angel I saw was a woman. Immediately red flags jumped up in my mind. Why do you think the red flags jumped up? Am I crazy or was there a legitimate warning in what this woman said?

Angels can appear in any form. But there is nothing in the bible saying that angels have gender. Honestly they have no need of gender. They will appear to people however they need to for what fits the situation, if they need to appear. Whether it be a woman, man, or child, young or old. Angels are beings of light, they are made out of God's glory. They don't have human flesh and don't have human desire, so would have no need for gender. |

I think the Bible is clear that angels are sexless...although I am fairly certain that every angel mentioned in the Bible appeared as a male. My guess is that they can appear how they want. |

Hi there to all my brothers and sisters in christ, to answer your question are there woman angels? the answer is yes (see Zechariah 5:9), for biblcal evidance. God is not a repect of person or being. |

My family and I were in an auto accident in 1969. My infant sister was pulled out of the car seat as the car took flight. I was four myself...Out of nowhere a female, appearing like an adolescent, angel caught her from out of the air and placed her back in her car seat...Unprovked and 30 years later, my dad told me that he saw the same angel...He was telling me something I had also witnessed...Clothed in White...wings and all...It was the most amazing enncounter I have ever had ... I believe. |

I thought you were saying that the angels were born again Christians. I'm assuming now that you meant that the two people you spoke to were born again Christians. f.f. , I didn't say that God's holy angels are born-again. They are sinless. They are completely obedient to the will of God. They are totally different creations and angels will never be men, and men will never be angels. The Bible says that the angels don't completely understand salvation, because they never needed It, never experienced it, like man has, they are sinless. They are very intelligent, but they desire to look into Salvation(1 Peter 1:12), do you know what I mean? |

The Holy Spirit will lead us in the paths of Righteousness, if we were to walk are own paths/the worlds paths, it would not be Righteousness. The Holy Ghost must be in control, not Self, and not the devil. One night while praying,in a vision, I saw a woman with a short pageboy haircut and long white robe hovering over the road in front of a service station,drivein grocery store. The store was on the corner where we turn to go to our house. I just prayed for all there and that no one be hurt there and the neighborhood. A few days later a male clerk fought off and beat 4 robbers,who all ran away. I know that was an angel showing me to pray and God heard,the clerk wasn't even hurt. |

Angels: messengers of the Lord, ministering spirits, speaks as the voice of God himself , some do Gods will, minister to men on the earth, angels mentioned by name, Jesus often spoke of angels, we are warned against worship of angels, fallen angels, a divine messenger. Angels are mentioned at least 108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit for guidance, comfort, and knowledge and understanding. Are angels walking among us? Would we know? |

greetings,in the angelic class there are cherubim and there are sanobim.the cherubim are recognized as active or positive charged as to the sanobim are recognized as passive or negative charged .to add the cherubim is the senior of the two for it is rare they will work indipendent of each other.the sanobim will sometimes give the appearance of being feminine. also ,angels are commonly refered to as feminine where there is male and female gender.but i don't know what she saw |

(2.) Maybe, and I mean maybe the woman saw an real angel from God, and was confused because of his appearance. The angel that I believe I saw only once in a dream had hair down to his shoulders, and a white robe down close to the ground , he didn't say anything, he was just watching me from the corner(maybe my guardian angel?) Only God knows. Maybe the woman was confused about the gender because of the hair, and attractive appearance. |

I've talked to 2 people who have seen God's Angel/Angel's, these are born again Christians BTW, not just any old body! They described the angel as being male. I had 1 dream that I believe I saw an angel, and the appearance of him, was very unique, but we are similar in appearance to them(they came first, before us). I don't know for sure if there are female angels, because the Word doesn't say , but I'm pursuaded to believe that it's only male, God's people will find out for sure soon. --Mrs. Morgan |

This sounds like a woman who may have been involved with, or listened to, some new age ideas. She may have had some experience with "spiritualism" or goddess worship. If so, red flags should be raised. On the other hand, she may have dreamt or imagined visitation by a female angel because angels are normally depicted as female. Perhaps she will tell you more. She surely needs the Lord and a strong Christian witness. It's something you must discern with the help of the HS. |

.jack, what other kind of women would be flying in the sky with wings if not angels? There are fallen angels as well. Scripture reads they were carrying a woman which is wickedness in the basket. This particular wickedness I believe is the idolatry that the scripture refers to as the whore of babylon or the queen of heaven. |

The Prophet Zechariah seen two women flying with wings who carried a basket, containing a women which is wickedness, to be set down in babylon, in Zechariah 5:7-11. |

That was definitely a legitimate warning. Male or man is used right throughout Scripture for not only God Himself but angels too. No such thing as a FEMALE angel --- !!! ?? What you need one of those for? |

One should not judge the mystical experiences of strangers. That's for someone else to do later.
Angels, of course, are neither male nor female, though they have almost always in Scripture taken the form of males. However, if we have "entertained angels unaware", can we say for sure they did not appear in female form sometimes? |

Mima, to be honest I dont know. But I have a friend that is involved in what I believe to be a cult but his church insists that all angels are male. His rational is that they all have male names. I think it is because that we have assigned those names as male. As a person in law enforcement our patron saint, and no I dont believe in patron saints, is the Archangel Michael which in French is Michelle. I really dont think what sex they are is important. |

2. The only ones named that I can think of are Gabriel and Michael. I don't think that this alone is enough to give you concern about the woman. Perhaps there was something else about her, still in the back of your mind that you cannot quite put your finger on. Hunches are often worth acting upon. Let us know if you work this out please. |

Nor have I but I always thought that angels would not actually have a gender. The majority of pictures of angels depict them looking female so, obviously many think they could be. |

Mima I got out of Bed the other day and I heard the voice of my sister crying out to God: I'm pregnant again and he wants me to have an abortion...Whoah there's no better way to describe that but a red flag.
And so I have to ask myself was I in the spirit when I heard that in my head the truth is I did hear that but if I don't stop right there and pray I don't have any way to know where in creation that came from.

The bible says that we are unaware that we could be entertaining angels. So you never know, maybe the angel took human form to help us, but as far as angels in Heaven except for the ones named in the bible they are netiher man nor woman. |
