How would Mohammed know? He showed up 600 years later and hijacked the Jewish Bible and the Christian Word. They teach its alright to lie to advance their faith so why would anyone believe anything they said? This is not against them it is just a matter of common sense - they admit they lie.
I'm so sorry that christians have not proven to be a better witness to these people.

This is a dumb question. Because I am saved, and I have heard the voice of my Saviour Jesus Christ God. My Lord and my God. Amen.

Christianity teaches that Jesus was God's son. This is a very central belief. Islam teeaches that Jesus could not hav been God's son, because it is inconceivable for God to have a son. This makes Islam totally incompatible with Christianity at a very fundamental level.
If a Christian wants to take Muslim teachings about Jesus over those of the Bible, he must be prepared to abandon his Chrisitan faith totally, since it is incompatible with Islam.

Jesus taught His disciples that He, as the Son of man He would be delivered into the hands of the chief priests and scribes and that they would condemn Him to death. That they would kill Him and on the third day following His death, He would rise again. Speaking to John after His ascension Jesus said "Fear not: I Am the first and last: I Am He that lives, and was dead, and behold I Am alive evermore." If muslims claim He never died , they make Him a liar. Who will you believe?

There are too many people who saw Jesus die on the Cross to say it didn't happen.
Of course, if there is no death, there is no Resurrection. (See what the Muslims and others who deny Christ's death are doing?)
A dead man requires only that you bury him.
A man who rises from the dead is in a position to make non-negotiable demands.

If you don't believe the word of God you cannot be saved.

Candice, researching how the Romans executed their criminals at the time should shed some light on whether or not Jesus was put to death by crucifixion.
But you are right, the important thing is that He died for us.
---Kay on 1/7/07|
I have read that He was actually crucified to a tree, but to conform to pagan converts the cross was invented as "idol worship" into christianity
---Eve on 6/22/06|
The point is Jesus died for us & rose again asscending into Heaven. The bible also states in the NT how he was hung on a tree. some say it was a cross, while others say a stake/tree, some researchers say that crosses were rare in that time & wasn't always around, but instead of arguing that he died on a cross, or what ever physical instrument, anyone following him must admit he died for our sins.

How can we as believers take the word of Muslim on our faith? They deny the crucifixion, why?
If Jesus did not die on the cross, there is no ressurection, which makes Jesus no better than their false prophet.
They get all their Christian knowledge, in the Koran, from gnostic gospels, not the true Bible.

All we have to do is read the eye witness accounts in the New Testament and we don't need any further proof. I have never read of any eye witness accounts by anyone claiming Jesus was saved from the cross. It was his purpose of coming.
---john on 6/4/06|
Are you a Christian? If Jesus did not die on the cross and raise the third day, you can't be a Christian. Nobody can. We are all going to Hell. But Jesus did die and raise again the third day. HE LIVES.
---Rev_Herb on 6/4/06|
Yes, Jesus really died on the cross.
1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 1 Corinthians 2:7,8 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
---Bruce5656 on 6/4/06|
Jesus really did die on the Cross at Calvary for the sin of mankind then He rose from the dead three days later. Any religion can claim whatever they want but it is not truth. The only truth is what God says in His word.
