I believe from what I see, that charismatic preachers can get rich from their words (and their special book offers), but I haven't figured out a way to pray myself money miracles yet. I'm stuck at a regular old job, which pays less and has less benefits every year. Now, maybe if I came from a wealthy family I could make myself believe that I had the special favor of God on my life.

There is power in our words, but definitely not to make one rich or anything else for that matter. That is false teaching of the false Prosperity Gospel. Have you noticed that only the ones at the top are rich?

NO, no and no. You are listening to a false teacher. You need to leave Him, and find a new preacher immediately.

My Poorest Christian friend believes this. Rather than say there is power in our words it would be more correct to say that there is decision in our words. I believe in decisive words not power words. I know many rich men, all are men of decision. Self hypnosis will only carry one so far and then you will bump into reality.

here's where the charasmatic prosperity gospel gets its start. slavery reparations (money) can only happen in U.S. cause this is where the money is (or used to be) the exact same thing is with this unbiblical, other gospel we were warned about.

once again helen is right on. this charasmatic prosperity gospel is from hell. to say you come to Jesus and he'll make you wealthy , healthy and wise. hogwash. all you're promised is trials, temptations and persecutions. how bad do you want to go to heaven? what about the Christians in iran? they're not rich.

There are three words that have been revealed to me that will have people just handing you money out of their purses and pockets.
I have been afraid to use them because I don't know how the people in my church would react to me.
But I will share these three words with you and people will just hand you money.
The words are....

Pr. 18:21 "Life and death are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof". Pr. 15:24 "The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath". Pr. 22:4 "By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honor, and life". "Pr. 10:22 "The blessing of the lord, it maketh rich, and addeth no sorrow with it" Use the power of your words to exalt the Father and your needs and His desires for you will be met.

There is power in faith. You speak things as though they already are. In the beginning, when God formed the earth, what did he do? He spoke it into exitence. His word made it to form. Words and how much faith we have behind is very powerful.

There is power in our words -- Proverbs says that there is life and death in the power of the tongue. But to think that by our words we can get rich --- how disgusting --- that has come from the false Prosperity Gospel and it is a lie from the pits of hell.

There is power in our words when we combine them with faith in Jesus Christ.

James 2:5 Hear, my beloved brothers, did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to the ones loving Him?

If you speak it and have perfect faith you still might not get rich-Why?

Because God knows you better than you do, and his love also means keeping from us things that would blind us to his reality.
