StrongAxe, Read 2Cor.12:1-10. Then google "Revelation of Paul"(What Paul saw in the third heaven). Paul said that God gave him a demon (messenger of Satan) and he demanded God 3 times to get rid of this demon. Then this god said "my grace is sufficent for you, for [my] power is perfected in your weakness". WHAT? Clearly Paul was being led by Satan! Peter, John and James called Paul a spouting liar! Read "THE SPIRIT OF THE CHURCH" by Neufeld and then form your opinion.

alan of UK, thanks for nailing it right on, always on, down for me. Thank you.

If Romney should win, I'll bring back all of your comments here and ask you if your comments apply?
What will you say then?
Will it not matter one iota to you, probably not.

I heart Huckabee.

catherine: Why would God choose a person that bows down to other gods? Bush is NOT setting a good Christian example.
---Steveng on 2/3/08

#2 GWB. One who believes the Pope was a man of God? One who advocates torture and the locking away of "terrorists" who receive no trial and are not allowed to protest their case? One who is doing much to bring us and the world into the NWO? One who locks away law abiding drug agents in solitary confinement? Much more could be said and the info. is out there for those who will study. Just read some of Chuck Baldwin's articles (I'm not advocating him per se but you will find info profitable).

Wisdom says to stay away from Sherry Shriner, she's a false prophetess and sells Orgone made to attract Demons to any place wherever it's planted.
---Gordon on 1/31/08

I am confused.
If Bush is in error because he's listening to the same god as Saul/Paul did, does this mean that you believe that Paul was in error (and hence, most of the new testament as well?), and if so, just which god do YOU serve?
---StrongAxe on 1/31/08

Dr Rich, do not be fooled by Sherry Shriner, she is a JW. Are you saying you are a conspiracy theorist by the way? Just that your conspiracy is different to the one I am aware of. Do you think the Catholics deliberately promoted Paul for their own purposes? Just interested.
---frances on 1/30/08

Bush probably thinks he is a Christian because he is listening to the same god as Saul/Paul did. But Bush's god is not the same as my God!
---Dr._Rich on 1/30/08

Yes, I really believe he is. However he may not be an extremely strong believer and got caught up with power and bad judgment. President Bush has got to be a very strong man to have gone through what he has gone through. I do not see another person being able to go through like he has. Ofcourse, God must get ALL OF THE CREDIT. To choose a president based on his smartness is not smart. Because the devil is smarter. We need someone who knows God because God is smarter than the devil. AMEN

No The president has the power threw Executive Order to stop abortion the day he became pres. ---Lynn on 1/28/08

No, Lynn, he didn't. SCOTUS ruled that a woman has the right to privacy, including getting an abortion. The only thing that will change that is a new law (which many state laws could and have been overturned by the courts) or a Constitutional admendment.
---NurseRobert on 1/30/08

Terry: "Jesus says "Judge not, least you be judged" but..."

You are definately taking this verse out of context which shows me how you interpret other verses. I suggest learning more about judging.
---Steveng on 1/29/08

You are right on Terry. Another favourite perversion of the gospel by the Jesuits and thought controllers is 'by their fruits you will know them'' which is odd since they say ''The ends justify the means''/ Do you see. It is really a clever perversion. You can do anything, even genocide, as long as it's for 'god'. But which god???
---frances on 1/29/08

If Bush is a Christian like many of you here, then I'd prefer a non believer to be the Pres of the US.
---Caring on 1/29/08

Jesus says "Judge not, least you be judged" but we are told to judge or test the "spirits" of those who we support - are their actions following Jesus commands: to love one another, to pray for those who persecute us, to turn our check to those who hit us.

Do we follow Jesus or support torturers?
---Terry on 1/29/08

No The president has the power threw Executive Order to stop abortion the day he became pres. He didn't...He calls good evil and evil good. I pray for him to repent.

If he is, then its probably more morally defensible to be an untrue Christian.

Bush is NOT a Christian!

A couple of years ago, while visiting Japan, he bowed down to Japan's stone idol, but he is used by God. A man of God would NEVER bow to an idol. Most Christians who attend a "christian" church are not really Christians at all but only hearers of the word of God. Wouldn't you think that after attending a church for three years that Christians would be performing greater miracles than Jesus?
---Steveng on 1/27/08

No one can tell if another person is truly saved or not. However having said that I can say with all my heart that I believe that President Bush is saved though not following thw will of GOD. Isreal and IRAQ are just 2 examples.
---jim on 1/26/08

One cannot be a christian and leave out the principals Of God in what they say and do.
Everyone that say lord lord,or go to church
will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Herb " So can a mason be a Christian? They have there own savior"
I don't think they see the need for a saviour
They acknowledge on super-god/creator ... the Great ARchitect of the Universe, and regard all other gods, including our God, as being subsidiary abd equally acceptable.
But I am sure they think the Saviour idea is a peculiarity and they think ... "Ok its all right for them to beleive in it"
But it means no more to them than that.
---alan_of_UK on 1/26/08

Christians were not secretive, they were open about what they did. They let anyone join them who wanted to. They preached far and wide. They did not do things that they were ashamed to talk about. They were totally the opposite of the secret societies that run this world. How can anyone draw any similarities and from people who got a lot of votes on this forum. I am amazed and do not want to write here any more.

Youtube 'Bush flips' and 'Bush drunk' and note that both incidents occured in the 1990s, long after he supposedly became a christian.

I hope that the truth counts as a christian reply.

It doesn't matter if Bush is a Christian. We are to pray for all in a position of leadership. Even Nebuchadnezzer was called a king of king and referred to as "my servant." Christians need to give him the honor due his office. Render to Ceasar that which is Ceasar's and to God that which is God's.
God can use whom he wants as he wants.
---Frank on 1/17/08

The sheep(believers) are now being separated from the goats(non-believers). Soon it will become apparent who the true believers (Christians) are. The non-believers are going to label Christ, the Messiah, as the anti-christ.
---duke on 1/17/08

President Bush is definitely a Christian because our local Christian bookstore sells large, expensive framed pictures showing him praying while Jesus looks down on him benevolently.
---InimicusStultitiae on 1/16/08

Bush and half the presidents were masons or belonged to some other secret society. The Founding Fathers were masons, deists and Unitarians, whats the real point? On one hand many say America was founded on biblical principles, on the other they denounce masons and heretics. Cant have it both ways.

---Rev_Herb on 1/15/08

If he is he has used coercion and other evil devices to do ugly things with. I hardly believe that is a work of a true Christian. Corinthians tells you the true meaning the spirit. Joy. Love.
---anonymous on 5/22/07

We are not to judge others. I have a hard time with the war in Iraq, when Jesus Christ had shown love to His enemies, rather than killing them. In the Old Testament, God spoke to His people to go against their enemies. I haven't heard anything like that through any wars our nation has been involved in. We as Christians should show more love and prayer for our enemies, than what we are doing today, when Jesus said, 'Vengence is mine.'
---Bill on 5/22/07

Judgements about the condition and fate of other peoples souls are beyond our reach. To pretend that we have the knowledge and wisdom to make such judgements invades territory that is God's alone. It is blasphemy to tell God which of his children he must reject and to tell Jesus which one of those he died for must be condemned.

Goerge Bush beongs to a chrisitan denomination. In a book "the wealth of nations", the governments direction is by "cohersion". I didn't know George Bush went through AA. Is that accurate.
---jhonny on 5/19/07

You better judge. Judge not by how good they look on the outside judge whether or not the one, true, living God is on the inside. We only see the outside of a person looks pretty good, but inside is rotten. Or a person may not look, act, talk, good, but inside God lives. Righteous judging. >>>Don't ever judge a book by its cover!
---catherine on 5/19/07

We don't have the power to judge anyone. Only God can do that justly. If the gospel has been shared with him and he professes Jesus as Lord and Savior, who are we to question that? Romans ch 14 always help me with this type issue. Shalom
---Robyn on 5/18/07

I have seen pictures of his swearing in and he was surrounded by other masons. He was sworn in using a masonic bible.

I just read his testamony and there is nothing in it that points to a moment of conversion.

He says he is and has a testimony to give. He is not ashamed to give it either which is more than many 'Christian' politicians will do. Obviously he is not perfect - who is? Obviously his hands are tied in certain areas because of the position he holds and, whatever he says and does, he will upset certain people. God will be the judge of whether he's the real deal, or not, but I personally think that he is.
---M.P. on 5/3/07

Jared, I didn't know he's a mason, but according to several sites on freemasonry, you're right. I knew a little about masons before (tried to comment 3 times on my granddad's experiences, but my comments weren't posted), but after reading from their handbook and rituals (gotta love the internet!), it's clear they are a satanic cult.

Most deceptive & heartbreaking is that their members don't know what they're really about. Most defend it as a Christian org, but at higher levels it's anything but.
---AlwaysOn on 11/13/06

Yes Bush is a mason, and he is a member of the Skull and Bone society....oh scary. But guess what only God can tell you if he is a christian or not. as far as I can tell he seems like he is, but so did the BTK killer in Wichita, KS. We can't judge so why try.
---Jared on 11/11/06

Besides does just being a member of a "secret society" mean that you are automatically out of heaven? He joined these before he said he became a christian anyhow, he may not be active in them anymore. (he said he became a committed Christian after he went through AA)

#1 ~ I don't believe we're to question whether someone is a real Christian. We aren't equipped to judge a heart issue between that person and God. What I do take issue with is people using Christianity as an in-road to something, but then not appearing to practice it once their destination is reached. If they asked for the group's support to get to that destination, I think we have a right to speak on their behavior once there. (Cont'd)
---AlwaysOn on 11/11/06

#2 ~ Politics aside, I question Mr. Bush on saying our Constitution is just "A (expletive) piece of paper", on displaying his middle finger to a camera filming him in private, on the skull and crossbone connection he admitted to on Tim Russert's interview & cussing in conversation like it's a daily thing. Because he's a Christian, I don't expect him to be perfect, nor do I expect him to carry himself so blatantly contrary to who he says he is.
---AlwaysOn on 11/11/06

dont blame me, i voted for michael anthony peroutka of the constitution party for president---a true Christian candidate from a truly Christian party. anyone who is pro abortion and support torture is not a Christian
---r.w. on 11/11/06

Actually, the proof that Bush is in Skull & Bones is in an autobiography of his. He says something like "it is a society so secret, that's all I can say about it." Quick research on this society will show you he is not a Christian. Also, I understand what you mean about 'true christian.' I use that phrase sometimes.

I Believe Bush is a Christian. I believe Bush is being use as the hammer to judge America with. Mr. Bush is undoubtably the worst president this country has ever had. His Texas swagger and total disregard for the Constitution exposes him to be totally incompetent. His actions will hasten the coming of the Antichrist. History proves that the hard right, communism, nazi, always lead to a restriction of human rights.

"Christian" is not a synonym for "good" or "I approve of this person or thing".
