Thank you John, very very much.

No Problem Mary!
You're going through so much hell. Not just the Cancer but your personal life as well.

I am going to pray for you tonight, that G-d will remove this stone from you!
---John on 7/7/11

Hi John--oh yes--I have chemo brain lol :D Thank you for the blessings :)
---Mary on 7/6/11

Mary you responded to them, along with Donna66.

But in any case G-d Bless you on your cancer journey.

I survived it, you will too.
---John on 7/6/11

John--thank you for sending the kind posts to the Mary (me) with breast cancer. I did not see those but thank you.
---Mary on 7/5/11

I havent seen any either.
---CraigA on 7/3/11

John--Your bitterness toward Baptist or Fundamental Churches colors everything you post... so much, that if ever you say something nice it's probably barely noticed. And you never quit. It's like an obsession. If you had a case to make, I think you've made it already.

Do you post here because no one in your real life will listen anymore? Nobody forces you to attend a church you don't like.
Why not give it up, turn it over to God, and, if you are a Christian, try to forgive and move on.
---Donna66 on 7/3/11

Then there a two Marys posting here.

Since I sent posts of love/caring to Mary who had Breast Cancer. Must be a different Mary then.
---John on 7/3/11

John, if you have posted many "kind and loving posts" then I apologize but I haven't seen them so I figured there weren't any.
---Mary on 7/3/11

oke john i need 5000 dollars for a car, im a christian, can you give it to me please?
---andy3996 on 7/3/11

Mary Mary Mary... I posted many kind, and loving posts.

G-d Bless you Mary! :)
---John on 7/3/11

John, John, John :D Jesus had a trait you do not: kindness. Sure, He was not always everyone's favorite but He showed love and kindness--and I have seen zero kindness in ANY of your posts--not one.
---Mary on 7/3/11

my favorite food is spelled....F O O D. anything that doesn't crawl and looks delicious.
---shira3877 on 7/3/11

I suppose you would say the same thing to Jesus, The Apostles and Paul.

---John on 7/3/11

John, you are sooooooooo depressing! A very troubled man and I am sorry for you. :(
---Mary on 7/3/11

And if you tried Chile Verde, you would not be talking so bad about pork. The tamales I make also have pork, and they are great also.

I also like chile verde a lot! :-)
---John.usa on 7/2/11

John, that is the whole story. Our daughter-in-law is not a member of our church, and they had never met her. It was a no-strings gift. You are a troubled person, John. God be with you. I'll be praying for you.
---John.usa on 7/2/11

John, in the passage I gave, Paul was speaking of his life before Christ was in his heart. What happened to you?

"Romans 14 tells us when we find somebody that's got that kind of a thing, hate for the church, brothers and sisters, and pork, don't use your liberty to make him stumble, for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, set that stuff aside, it's righteousness, peace, joy and the Holy Spirit."

And if you tried Chile Verde, you would not be talking so bad about pork. The tamales I make also have pork, and they are great also.
---Mark_V. on 7/2/11

Mexican is my ethnic food of choice. Prepared with FRESH jalapeno peppers (not jarred or canned X-b) I'm mostly Vegetarian. I love fresh fruits of many kinds, and also, fresh vegetables. (Even broccoli) :-D

---tom2 on 7/2/11

JohnUSA, NOT the WHOLE story is it!

This is the type of thing Fundis will give money to.
Was she on a missionary trip? And are you ALL members(long time members?)So they will get their money back + interest. It's NOT giving AT ALL! NOT CHRISTIANS!

JUST A CLUB(I.E. ELKS, MASONS(Who always loan member money)

Just a loan. I'm sure you repaid them with heavy interest!

You get the same from a Loan Shark or the Mob!

If they get a phone call from someone who needs to pay their electric bill.

Will these self serving Hyprocrites give money knowing they will not get it back.

(Where's my Pepto Bismol?)
---John on 7/2/11

When our daughter-in-law was stuck in Mexico trying to get her immigration visa, people in our church donated $1000 to our family to help up get that process finished. We were successful, praise the Lord. So I certainly think my church helps people in need.

And yet Saul was the greatest of The Apostle MarkV. And you listened to him and read all his letters (i.e.posts)!

Why should I do that John?

Why should I seek out the feww bad churches, when there are so many good ones around?

AS Mark syas, you must have been hurt by one church in the past ... But don't tar all the others with the same brush!...
---alan8566_of_uk on 7/1/11

John, It's fact to say that you have not been to many churches that are good churches. Your behavior of churches and bro/sis. is so corrupt that it's made you blind. As I said before you must have been denied help at some church as Steven G was that now you are out to crucify all of them and the people within. You are no better then anyone else, for you still sin like everyone else, unless you are sinless and not call your sin sin. You are another Saul for he said,
"For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Church of God." 1 Cor. 15:9.
They were genuine Christians he persecuted which makes the Church of God. As Saul, you are not worthy to be called a Christian.
---Mark_V. on 7/1/11

I do not think that I have "a single favorite" kind of food. Sometimes I crave a crenshaw melon or a mango, other times I crave a chinese chicken chop suey dish, or a veggie pizza, or a spicy bean burrito, or a cheese burger, or nonfat frozen vanilla yogurt. It just depends on my appetite at the time.
---Eloy on 6/30/11

Good Point MarkV!

CarigA Pleezzzzz.
Tell me this is NOT the case in these Social Clubs.

Tell them you need money for rent.

You'll be considered a Low-life by their Bourgoise standards and they will cast
you out!

AT BEST...Some will give if you're a member only! So they get their money back+interest. "Even Sinners lend money if they get it back".

Trying asking as a non-member.

They will say"I will pray for you!" Hey IT'S FREE!
(not that they do it anyway/Just Lying)

"They say Lord Lord, but when I was hungry they didn't feed me!"

Remember the Good Samaritan!

John, you really need to let go of your bitterness before it destroys you. Jesus Christ is not bitter and neither is the Spirit that lives in His followers.

Its obvious that you have been wronged by some church in the past, but hanging onto that hurt and anger is only gonna hurt you in the end. Forgiveness isnt for the other person, its for you.
---CraigA on 6/30/11

John, how dare you insult pork. I love chile verde and it is made out of pork meat with green chile sauce and if you eat it you too would love it. So shame on you for insulting pork. Don't worry about insulting human being who are brother/sisters in Christ. Or insulting them because they like to eat together. You can insult human beings because you have that right, but don't insult the pork.
---Mark_V. on 6/30/11

Spiritually: my favorite food is the Word of God.
Physically: there are too many to list here but a few.Meatloaf,pasta,chicken,broccoli/cheese, seafood(mainly fish, shrimp, oysters)all types salads. I try to never overeat but to dine and enjoy. Gluttony is a sin. GBU

I think if someone were to list all the food they had at their church potluck, John here just might have an aneurysm. :D
---CraigA on 6/29/11

Potlucks are okay sometimes. I usually just eat what I bring myself. Then at least I know what it is! And I don't believe potlucks are Baptist communion. Not at our Baptist church anyway! :-)
---John.usa on 6/29/11

---John.usa on 6/29/11 Wonderful memories.I loved my grandparents Swedish Christmas Eve and New years eve gatherings.A True Swedish Smrgsbord, with an amazing variety and quantity. As a kid I mostly indulged in the Swedish meatballs (noone makes them like my grandmother), and breads, hard and soft, and of course a slew of Swedish cookies, cakes, and traditional pudding.

Elena, I'm from Texas and the food I love is called "barbacoa" hope I spelled that right. I find it everywhere in South Texas when I go on vacation, but here in Nothern California where I have lived since 64, no one makes it. It comes from beef head, the tender meat.
Also love Chile Verde, and I make tamales during Christmas Holidays every year. A lot of work doing them, but the results are awesome. I make about twenty dozen for the family and put alot of meat in them and some I make with hot chiles. Peace.

Madison, the proper way to fix greens is this. Cut the thick stems-NEVER put those in the disposal, they swell and will clog it up. Wash all the leaves, smell them raw. Put them all in a leak proof bag(s) and carry them to the dumpster on your way to your car to go out to eat! :-) I'm a Southerner, but those various kinds of greens make my stomach turn! Stinky and stringy! To each his/her own!
---NV_Barbara on 6/22/06

Thanks T.S. the only thing we do with steaks up here is grill them, and occasionally slap it between 2 pieces of garlic bread and have a sandwich.

heehee! Yes, "Nanner" is the southern translation for BANANA! Also, Bethie, you poor darlin, you've never had chicken fried steak & gravy?! It is a thin tenderized piece of boneless steak, rolled in egg/milk mixture, then rolled in flour, then fried. Pour some milk gravy over it.....Yummmmmm yummmmmm! And it is a total southern crime to serve it without mashed POTATOES. And Cana, we like cornbread too, but with sweet milk instead of buttermilk
---T.S. on 6/20/06

Being originally from S.C. I surely recognize most of the foods mentioned. My Mom made the BEST 'nanner puddin!'Ever try it with strawberries instead? MMMMMM!
I like a variety of foods, I very much like my Lasagna, I make great sauce! I have a Persian friend who makes some dishes using fresh Saffron, VERY good!

Nanner, if I may, is Banana. Right?

Half of my Family was from the south, and my great grandmother didn't like Yankees when I was a kid; and I don't mean the baseball team.
