*a mediator is someone whom mediates on God, having their mind, heart upon God.

Rebecca, that's a meditator, not a mediator.

** Jesus is our intercessor. **

Does this mean you don't ask other people to pray for you, Rebecca?

Jesus is our intercessor. When we pray to God, Jesus takes our prayers to the Father. he interceeds on our behalf. Just like when Moses went up on the mountain to interceed prayer on behalf of the people in the Wilderness. a mediator is someone whom mediates on God, having their mind, heart upon God.

Great question...Tom, what a wonderful answer. Moses was the mediator of Israel under the law. Moses settled disputes and eventually established judges because the disputes became overwhelming. Jesus is our intercessor, as Tom said He pleads our case to the Father.

A biblical intercessor is someone who pleads your case for you, as Christ interceeds for us before the throne of God .A midiator is someone who abrItrates ,or helps you to come to an agreement with another person over DISAGREEMENTS.
