When Will Jesus Return

Would some of you please give me chapters and verses that show when and how Jesus will come for His own and when He will come to reign for 1000 years?

No one can do this. Matthew 25:13, "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

If Christ doesn't know, how are we to know?
(Mt. 24:36)

Because God knew we would have literal minds for understanding it seems incredible that he would use the term 6000 years five separate times in Revelation 20:2-7 if he did not intend for us to understand it literally as 6000 years!!... When one dances with the "broom" of symbolism, you are subject to being laed down a multitude of rabbit trails.

Eric reread Rev. 20: 1-9. Verse 4&6 documents the reign and how long. Verse 9. documents the where, the saints are on earth. The fire comes down from heaven. No where in between is there any mention of the saint either leaving earth after the resurrection or returning. Then read Rev. 5:10. This verse further establishes the place of the reign. There is no mention of a U turn when Jesus returns. As a matter of fact the new Jerusalem come down to us. Rev. 21:10

I have not seen the bible speak about a 1000 year reign on earth. I have read that at the second coming Christ will take us to heaven john 14:1-3 and we will be there in heaven living and reigning with Christ as judges
Read Rev 20:4, 12
1 Cor 6:3.

When Christ came to earth He left His divinity in heaven. He left His omniscience and omnipresence in heaven but when He returned back I believe He took it up again. Now with that knowledge I believe He then knew the day and hour and He does now.

all knowledge, I thought it was all power???remember jesus has all spiritual knowledge, but as to the timing of the father he decides when jesus will return. It has nothing to do with has to do with when the father says its time to go back son.

A question? After Jesus arose and went to the Father and had a glorified body, didn't He THEN have ALL knowledge? While He walked the earth I know He said only the Father knew, but didn't that change when He ascended? Curious?

The signs of His coming tell us very soon.

Its like the birth pains of a mother. Teh contractions start to get more frequent and more intense.

Since a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day to our Lord I would say he reigned a thousand years when he stepped out of the sepulchre. It was then that he reigned over death and all the power of the enemy and has ever since. Upon his ressurection began his day without end in receiving all glory and honour as the sacrifice without spot and acceptable to God. He will return when no one is ready and while every eye will see him he will have returned as a theif to catch all off guard.

He comes for His own at the end of the tribulation.

As regards a literal millennial reign, there are two previous warning in Psalm 90 and 2 Peter 3:8 that "a thousand years are as one day with God". In other words, this verse in Rev 20 is NOT to be understood as 1000 years as we measure them on this fallen earth.
