I am going to Heaven. I publicly confess Jesus Christ as my savior.

"Who is going to heaven and why?" I have already been taken to that heighten awareness that transcends the sensually dictated state of mind thru the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

"How do you know that you are not part of the end-time apostate church?" Because I know that the spurious messiah of the end time appears before the second coming of Jesus & will not advocate any other supposed reality.

sue, sorry to here you feel like that about yourself. 2Cor. 5:17-19 states we are new creatures, the old has passed away... read all the Scriptures that tell you who you are in Christ. If those don't change the way you feel about yourself, I don't know what will.

We mortals shouldn't be talking about these sort of things. Only God.

Matthew 7:21-24; Luke 6:46; Luke 13:23-25
Do not be deceived. It isn't hard to enter Heaven, Jesus told us how. And those with true faith will do the will of the Father by their own spirit driven inclination. But there are those who will deny the teachings of Christ and tell you that you need only say "Lord, Lord" and live as if nothing as changed.

I guess if all I have to do is say that prayer then I guess I'm going to heaven too. But somehow I think that there is more to it than that. I feel like I am so dirty and sinful next to could I ever stand next to such holiness? God bless.

I get to go to heaven because I have followed the instructions given in the Bible. And those instructions are.... "whosoever show called on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Here is my call. "Lord Jesus, thank you for coming in to my life, forgive me of my sins, save my soul, I accept you now!!" If that prayer was not acceptable to the Lord Jesus Christ I would be eternally lost!!

Jesus does not HAVE to accept anyone. We are all horrible filthy sinners saved by His grace and mercy and it is the Father who draws us to His Son, not the other way around. FAITH DOES NOT BEG, IT JUST BELIEVES.

Rw. "we must beg Jesus to accept US!" Can you please show scriptures that states that?
---Ramon on 7/3/06

--r.w. has expressed the view of many Christians. The idea that we must beg Jesus to accept us is a false teaching. This teaching makes the statement,
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" made by Jesus in John 6:37 a lie. Of course that's ridiculous.

we don't accept Jesus, He's Lord and Saviour whether you accept Him or not - we must beg Jesus to accept US!

I accpted Jesus into my heart, and he told me that if I endure til the end, that I will be saved, meaning go to heaven.

Since our righteousness are no more than filty rags I guess we can only TRUST, OBEY, and HOPE!
