& have nothing to do with him he can leave you" Read Heb13:5 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Who is saying this Yahushua our Messiah. Also read 1 Tim2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

If you choose to leave God & have nothing to do with him he can leave you.He doesn't want to ,but he'll have nothing to do with wickedness nor with people not wanting him. In 1cor ch5 vs 13 it speaks of him judging the outsiders (non-church family),but why stray from him, he gives us eternal life why throw that away?

1. Thank you for all your answers and prayers. I've been through a very difficult period in my life. Last night I got to the verge of quitting I fell asleep talking to God and this morning as I woke up I immediately got down and prayed. Then I went to church earlier today, the message was on the Lord's Supper, God was talking to my heart, about me and the love he manifested in his Son. He led me back to the first love.

Romans 8 (end) refers to God upholding through all sorts of diversity & assualts of Satan. That seems to say He would protect us against what leads us to make the the decsion to turn our back on Him.
But I've seen apparently fully saved Christians who desert Jesus & humanly I find it difficult to accept that in Shira's words, they were "were never a christian anyway"

A christian is a born again by the blood person. If you don't want to be a christian, then you were never a christian anyway.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them ETERNAL LIFE; and they shall NEVER PERISH, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
I and my Father are one.

Put that in loosing your salvation pipe and smoke it.

Other words, how do you explain that if you loose your salvation?

It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Doesn't sound like this guy lost his salvation. Tell me how you can loose your salvation if the bible is clear you can't?

Does God answer prayer? Does He answer his own Son's prayers? Then why did God fail to answer Jesus' prayer:

And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

So if you can loose your salvation, God failed to answer this prayer.

Read Mark 4:1-8 for your answer.

Since God has given man freewill, man has the choice all the time whether to serve God or not. A Christian can backslide and remain in that state. If that Christian dies in that backslidden state, then he goes to hell. There is no such thing as once saved always saved. You can be always saved if you continually believe that Jesus died for you and you follow Him in what His word says to do.
