What Are You Doing This July 4th
From 8:30 to 5:00 I will be working at the psychiatric hospital. From 5:30 to midnight I will be working at an agency with severely mentally ill addicts.
I am blessed with a great deal. I believe we should pass on our blessings to those who have less.

Why is what I said back in July '07 being repeated on 8/25? Just curious. No problem! I guess someone thinks it bears repeating. I agree. :)
Active (ongoing) repentance is a timeless & integral part of being a Christian. Our faith/trust (dependence upon) in, coupled with obedience to, God is absolutely necessary to our being set free.

I want to take this opportunity to remind as many Americans as I can that apart from an abiding dependence on God, we can not sustain our independence (freedom) by ourselves.

Let me make my last statement clear, when I said "forefathers" of the bible I was referring to Moses,Abraham, the disciples, obeying God, the disciples going against persicution for our freedom to worship God.

Nothing. I thank God for my freedom daily.I donot bow down to man made holidays especially with a nation so messed up & so far away from God. Yes I am thankful for the founding fathers of America, but what about our forefathers in the bible doing more for our Spiritual freedom? Plus I can't stand fireworks. My daughter is afraid since a sparkler burned her 3 yrs ago.

Thank you Mike for keeping my cell phones and cable modem running! Happy 4th!
I used to work at V------, I loved that holiday pay!

I will be working on call to keep the circuits supplying dialtone to your cellphones and the computer networks (like this one) on line. Between calls I will be watching for the sky to light with "bombs bursting in air" spending this holiday with my family. We are a blessed nation with blessed friends and allies. Thank God for His presence and guidence.

Me and my mom and hubby and cat will be sitting out on the porch watching fire works for about 3 weeks. My cat LOVES the fire works I HATE them.

We are having a revival at our church starting this morning and going thru the 4th.
---shira on 7/2/06|
We have a short service at church and then a bar b que with our church family.
In the evening we'll sit in our front yard and watch the fireworks displays from the roof of all the hotel/casinos downtown. We have a good view without leaving home.

I used to live in Canada, and meet up with American friends on the 1st/4th July weekend. 1 July being Canada day and a holiday.
They always asked my father, "what do you do for 4th July?"
Our answer, as good Engishmen? "Burn Washington in effigy."
