Who would expect it to?
Who would expect it to deny it?
I doubt if any serious scientist (except the deliberately atheist such as dawkins) would try to use science to confirm or deny it.
Sciewnce relies on physical evidence, and there is none for science to investigate

2/... If you need science or anything else to "back it up" then you are not walking in faith. "Blessed are those who have believed and not seen".

How could science ever back up Jesus' resurrection? That was probably the greatest miracle of all time. Besides it is not for us to believe what science says, but what God says in His word. It takes faith to believe in the Resurrection. Faith is simple, while science is still trying to work stuff out and a lot of the time they are wrong or it is only guesswork.

consider the caterpillar, how about a tulip bulb or any seed many other things in nature, that have chacteristics of a ressurection, the seed dies and a plant is birthed ,a tree, we have this blessed HOPE !!!Faith is the Substance of Things (HOPED) for...Hebrews 11

Faith just simply believes Jesus' resurrection. There is nothing needed to back it up. It cannot be scientifically proven anyway.

You might be able to use scientific methods e.g. in analysis of historical records to infer that events surrounding the resurrection did occur but you can't explain the resurrection in terms of known physical laws. On another note, science is just man's imperfect observation of God's created universe. Even if it's imperfect it's goal is still noble and we can take those parts that do not contradict the Bible to glorify God as Creator. We should not throw the baby out with the bath water.

Nazis died for a lie.

Stalin put many other good Party members to death, and they willingly died for a lie.

do you know anyone who would die for a lie???I know twelve men who died that would not deny who jesus was,and that he was resurected.Much more profound than mere science.

mary, jesus told thomas, thomas you have believed because you have seen, blessed are those who have not seen yet believe.science will never prove spiritual miracles ,because its beyond physical laws, and physical reality.our proof is in the eyewitnwess testimony in scripture, the changed lives. paul probably the most changed man that the new testament reveals.

Mary, the word "science" comes from the Latin word "scio"--to know.

And is not knowledge one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit?

Don't let anyone tell you that God and Science are opposed.

I don't know how one can prove Jesus's resurrection scientifically. There's no way it can be duplicated in the lab. To me, it's like trying to scientifically "prove" a Beethoven symphony or Shakespeare sonnet.

Mary, if you read the old testament it tells us that the Israelites had God with them, right here on earth. many passages describing what God did for them in person. Many miracles and signs. But they still sinned, they still many, many times did not believe God.I,am of the opinion that even if science could prove Gods existance many still wouldn,t believe.I,ts in our nature.
---tom2 on 7/4/06

Mary the word science, and the word God don,t mix together.you must believe, you must accept or reject Gods word, and as paul said the cloud of witnesses as to the factual accounts of jesus and his ministry BY FAITH.now miracles happen even today though some people disagree with the fact that they do.But that don,t change the truth it just blinds their spirit to the truth
---tom2 on 7/4/06

yep, wouldn,t it be just great if science could prove everything about God? THEN WE WOULDN,T NEED FAITH. and we could just take out are spirit seeing eyeglasses every time we wanted to see God, and our spirit hearing earphones every time we wanted to talk and listen to God and we would be happy and content cause we just knew God was there.SCIENCE can sure be a dirty word at times.
---tom2 on 7/4/06

mary, we have the eyewitness terstimony of the bible as to the resurection. If science could prove God and jesus and all the miracles, why then would we need faith???believing is a matter of faith. You either do or you don,t ,thats how God set it up.

What particular aspect of the Resurrection of Jesus would you want Science to go into? Do you want science to answer the question is it possible for a dead man to come to life again after being burried for three days? If we are going to ask simple questions, then maybe we can get simple answers.

My faith overides the need for proof of the resurrection, finding the 'holy grail' or pieces of Noah's boat on Mt. Ararat.

Read These Insightful Articles About Menopause

There are so many books out there now that will lead us astray if we are not careful. The only Book we should take notice of as Christians is God's word the Bible.

I was not saying i needed science to prove Jesus' resurrection, I was just curious as to what other people had to say. I saw a book advertising that it could answer this exact question and I was curious.

No ... it does not ... did you expect it to?
It was supernatural event, not created by nor explainable by science
