Who can be saved?

Jesus knocks on peoples hearts door. Those that let Jesus in to abide - dwell, & Jesus has requirements for that individual or individuals to serve Him. You just canNot serve Him just any ole way.

All repentant sinners are welcome in God's grace. Here is proof.
Luke 15:7
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

It says their is joy in heaven over one sinner who repents. Not one sinner who accepts Jesus. Repentance is a must to be saved. Without it we are lost.

We are ALL sons of God!
Everyone- small and great, rich and poor, free and slave- can enjoy the benefits of Salvation!

As brother Jim stated [Rom.10:13]- Accept Jesus Christ into your Heart [ACTS 4:12] "Salvation is found in NO ONE ELSE, for there is NO OTHER NAME under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
[2 PETER 3:9] "The Lord is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

[ROMANS 10:9] "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED."

God has the last word on the subject. The last invitation in the Bible is Revelation 22:17, "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."

Eph 2:8 Salvation is a gift

Jn 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him . . .
65 . . . no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

Jn 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you . . .

God's terms are "called", "elect", "chosen."
By definition there have to be men that are uncalled, unelected & unchosen.

The condition is that God must choose to save them. No one chooses God.

Romans 10:9-10 makes it plain. Salvation comes by faith, not our works, deeds, or actions.(Ephesians 2:8-9) Now after we recieve the free-gift of righteousness, we must live for Christ & cultivate our salvation. Salvation is 3-fold:
1. Past-spirit get's born-again(John 3:3-5)
2. Present-soul is being saved/renewed(Romans 12:1-2)(Hebrews 10:39)
3. Future-during the rapture we recieve our new body(1Corinthians 15:51-56)

Satan believes in Jesus, but the Bible says Satan will never be forgiven, so there must be more to salvation than just belief?

to Mima : who will be saved?
God loves us all and the Jesus died for all men right? Approximately 55 billion people have lived onthisearth. howmany ofthem willbe saved? What about those who never heard of Christ or had the opportunity to be saved? Can they be saved too, Do you know which one?

If there were things people had to do before they can get saved, very, very few would be Christians. Jesus said whosoever will, that means anyone. What your question reminds me of is certain churches makes a person do certain tests or give them a list of do's and don'ts.

there is only ONE condition for receiving salvation. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. In case you don't understand KJV english, "thou shalt be saved" means you can have it, too.

Jesus is the door which speaks of the Cross and His sacrifice of Himself there for the sin of mankind. The Cross is for all who will come. When Jesus cried from the Cross "It is finished" the veil in the temple was then torn in two signifying that the way to the Cross was now open to everyone. Salvation is believing that Jesus died on the Cross for your sins then rose from the dead, then continuing to believe that "The just shall live by faith" Galatians 3:11.
