Any Rewards For Me In Heaven
Because we are only human. We want to feel good NOW. It's like that old prayer: "God, please grant me patience, NOW!"

I do believe that I have a chance of being rewarded with a soulwinner's crown. But whether I'm rewarded with one or not I have long known what I am to do. One of the qualifications to be a soulwinneris is not what most people believe. They believe "knowledge". But the most important qualification is to have certainty of your own salvation. Most people do not believe they can know for certain while they are a alive.

Dottie, I desire nothing on this earth but Thee O Lord, to Know Him in the Power of His resurrection, to love Him with all of my heart and Soul and a couple of spiritual blessings here and there would be nice, but not necessary. Why asssume we all want instant gratification? I don't even think I'm getting any rewards in Heaven, I don't feel I deserve them.

There are several rewards listed:
1. Soul-winners crown or crown of rejoicing
2. Crown of righteousness
3. incorruptible crown
4. crown of life
5. crown of glory

Dottie, you may want to elaborate on what you get rewards for. I only know of rewards for saving the lost from going to hell. What else are rewards given out for in heaven?

Dottie, I think I misunderstood your question, please forgive me. When you say instant gratification, do you mean blessings? or material things? I'm not sure. Are you saying we shouldn't want blessings if that's what you mean by gratification. I simply don't fully understand the question, my apologies, I've got alot on my mind today. Sorry about that.

People want instant gratification because they are in the flesh. One of the fruits of the Spirit is patience. Christians that bear fruit do not look for instant gratification.

I would rather have my treasure layed up in heaven even though I do not feel I deserve any. Salvation and the ability to worship and praise Jesus for an eternity is enough. Just to be free of trials and temptations and sin are worth waiting for; not to mention the greatest gift of all, Jesus.

He is my exceedingly great reward. The Lord is my portion and my cup. My reward is knowing that I have become His reward.

Donna, Not once did I use the word "all" and I am assuming nothing, I simple asked a valid question, to which I am sure that you know is true for "many" people. If you feel you will be getting "no rewards" in heaven then you are not seeking God to do His will in your life. That of course is none of my business, that is between you and God. But God does promise rewards in Heaven, I just don't know why you don't want to participate.
