Keep Them Ignorant About Heaven

If God does not judge you on what you do not know, what is the point of telling people about Gospel if they run the risk of rejecting it? Wouldn't they be better off to die ignorant and go to Heaven than to have the knowledge and go to Hell?

Rom1:Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them;for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God,neither were thankful;but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.*That's why it's so important to preach the Gospel*.

Everyone will hear the gospel and will have the opportunity to accept or reject it. God is no respector of people. No exceptions. The only people returning to God's kingdom are those who follow ALL the teachings of the Savior in life and repent daily of their sins. They emulate Jesus Christ in word, thought and actions. You cannot serve two masters. whatever you nurture in your heart shows others who you serve. Your actions will speak too loudly for feeble words to be heard.

The ignorant are accountable for their actions, and those who die with an evil nature go to hell, whether they know the gospel or not. Three kinds of people who go to hell: the wicked by nature who never heard the gospel; the person who heard the gospel, but rejected it; and the backslider who never repented or returned to the Lord. And three kinds of people go to heaven: the righteous by nature who never heard the gospel; the born-again Christian; and the backslider who repented or returned to the Lord.

Not everyone who saids Lord, Lord will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. You will say, "Lord, didn't we prophecy in your name and preach in your name and did all kinds of miracles in your name". And I will say, "depart from me you workers of iniquity,-- [The grievous, violation of justice, wickedness, sinfulness.] I never knew you.">>>> In other words: God has got to KNOW you in order for you to be saved.

The Bible answers that better than I could.
---lorra8574 on 4/17/07

The answer is No it is not better. Most are going to get to hear the gospel. Now it is true the more you know the less excuse you will have on Judgment Day. Besides all of that, God is smart. He is all knowing and you are testing God and He no like that. You need some WISDOM.

Ho 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

God does not judge you on what you do not know? Please refrence the scripture that supports this claim?

this gospel will be preached as a witness to every nation, then the end will come.

Because the Lord Jesus commanded us to do so. (Matthew 28:16-20). No other reason is needed.

MeMA. Some plant and some water, but it's God who brings the increase. If we are obedient to plant the seed, God will bring another to water. Then it may take a situation in that person's life, remembering the planter and waterer, and they get saved. We won't know who we affect always, until we are in heaven. Be obedient and keep sharing the gospel.

This question speaks to a little known or understood truth.-When we witness to a person clearly giving the message of how they can be saved, and they turned us down. They will now be in greater danger of hellfire because they have learned how they could have been saved. Another words rejection brings heavier condemnation!

I think sometimes we forget that in Adams original sin, all have inherited a fallen nature. Praise God He promised a Redeemer, right off the get go. The gospel has really been around since the beginning of man. We are commanded to Preach the Gospel of Good News, The Gospel according to the Mystery Rom:16 25-27?. The Gospel of Christ In You, The Hope of Glory.

as a christian I know that jesus said the gospel must be preached to every nation ,then the end will come.

I stand by what I said Bruce, if they have never had the chance to hear the gospel, then they are judged on that knowledge.
Have you never heard of Open Doors (I think) of Brother Andrew? He spent the best part of 30 years getting the Bible into Russia and China.
Christian radio is now pretty well world wide, so the chances are good of hearing the gospel.

Mat. 24:14 " This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" Mk 13:10 "And this gospel must first be published among all nations" According to Jesus Himself all will hear the message whether it is accepted or not. And as His followers we are commissioned to make it happen. Mk 16:15 "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

The Bible teaches that all who die without Christ go to hell. I have heard the teaching that says that if people die without hearing the gospel they will go to heaven -- that is a false teaching and is a lie.
---Helen_5378 on 7/28/06

Die ignorant and go to heaven? Who's your preacher?
---Mrs._Morgan on 7/28/06

Jesus said when His gospel is preached to all the nations, then He will come(the rapture). God is relying on His people to get the message to the lost, or they will go to Hell, the Holy Spirit keeps the burden of the lost burning in our souls. God judges man according to his works good or bad, this means there will be different degrees of punishment in hell, Hitler and the old sinner man up the street who never hurt nobody, but didn't receive Jesus will not have the same degree of punishment.

What about Malaysia are they illiterate savages? Did you know the bible is banned there in the native language? Do you realize, in many Muslim countries it is forbidden on the punishment of death to distribute bible or promote Christianity. Are they "illiterate savages?" What about the soviet block or China etc. etc. etc. where the bible is banned. These are all "illiterate savages?"
---Bruce5656 on 7/28/06

If we don't tell them, then who will? If they reject it, that is their problem, but at least they will know. And at least you have done your part toward that person on witnessing for Christ. No it wouldn't be better, because knowledge is powerful, and just think of how much a person can learn about God if they only had knowledge.

Lilly;Ez.3.18 "When I say to a wicked man You will surely die,and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin and I will hold YOU accountable for his blood!(19)if you warned him, you will have saved YOUR life"

**Wouldn't they be better off to die ignorant and go to Heaven than to have the knowledge and go to Hell?**

Where did you get the idea that people who "die ignorant" automaticaly go to heaven?

The Bible doesn't say that.
