A person can either bless or curse their day before it even starts. If you wake up in the morning and drag out of bed, moaning, complaining, yeah, it is going to be a rotten day. but if one gets out of bed, praises the Lord from the start. You will find your day goes so much better. The next time someone asks you how you are doing. Instead of telling them you're fine or complaining how you feel. Just say, I'm blessed. Not only will you witness to them but you will lift your own spirit up.

Don't Worry, Be Happy

Here is a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note
Don't worry be happy
In every life we have some trouble
When you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy......

Ain't got no place to lay your head
Somebody came and took your bed
Don't worry, be happy
The land lord say your rent is late

He may have to litigate
Don't worry, be happy
Look at me I am happy
Don't worry, be happy

Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style
Ain't got not girl to make you smile
But don't worry be happy
Cause when you worry
Your face will frown
And that will bring everybody down
So don't worry, be happy (now).....

There is this little song I wrote
I hope you learn it note for note

Like good little children
Don't worry, be happy
Listen to what I say
In your life expect some trouble
But when you worry
You make it double
Don't worry, be happy......
Don't worry don't do it, be happy
Put a smile on your face
Don't bring everybody down like this
Don't worry, it will soon pass
Whatever it is
Don't worry, be happy

You cannot decide to be happy because happy is temperary. If your son or daughter is kidnapped and you decide well, I'm going to be happy. You would be repressing you true emotions which could later down the road cause psycological and emotional problems. Never fake how you feel in hard times. God will give you peace within that will give you joy and a testimony.

The joy of the Lord is a gift which is wonderful. But our thoughts can cause basic attitude which affects happiness. We are taught in the Bible to think on good things. To bring each thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ. To let our minds dwell on what soever is good. At that point, we can choose to be happy. The exception is clinical depression that is based on chemical changes in the brain.

Nothing worse than a flesh smile. It never works. Ask Jesus to put a smile on your face and see what happens. Before you know it you will be shouting!

of course put a smile on your face in the morning and you will be happy all day smile at every one and watch the results they will smile back at you and you will feel much much better.

Deciding to overlook many of the problems in a marriage can help it to become happier than it was. Much depends on the 'other half' being prepared to do the same though. However positive and forgiving one spouse is, a marriage will not be truly happy if there is little or no co-operation from the partner in this.

Happiness is a choice. In all circumstances praise God and choose to be happy. Sometimes Life circumstances can make us broken but God is their for us. If you are a woman, read "The Proper Care And Feeding Of Husbands". It may bring hope if he's this type of husband and not a louse.

You can be happy by deciding to surrender all to Jesus. From the hymn "I Surrender All":

All to Jesus I surrender;
all to him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust him,
in his presence daily live.

Not necessary it depends on what is making you sad in the first place. If your spouse is and he is not displaying a Godly attitude towards you then your marriage is in trouble? you need outside help (counselling)Some marriages you can decide you need to be more happy than display your true sadness but it may work for a while but then your true feelings will come to the surface. You both need to communicate if that is possible.

if you can take a circumstance or situation and dwell on it to the point of depression, then you can also look at the spiritual truth of Gods word not to worry and become aggravated and depressed over the same situations and circumstances.S o the answer is yes you can decide to be happy,or sad its your choice.

Yes. We control how are day or lives are going to be. If you wake up one morning and start complaining before you make it to the bathroom, your day is already ruined. If you wake up and praise God as you jump to your feet, your going to have a good day. If you look at your boyfriend/girlfriend, and say I won't be happy with that person, then chances are your not going to be.

You can choose to focus on the Spirit and He will bring you Joy. There is nothing we can do of our own faculty to produce fruit. There is only one decision we can make, Who is our master.

I can only answer for myself, yes I think I choose whether or not I am going to be happy. I can choose to let something upset me, or I can raise my hands and say Hallelujah any how. But, I am not married so I cannot answer that part.

You should enter your marriage on the assumption that it will be happy. If you doubt whether it will be happy, you should not get wed.
Once married, you should do everything in your power to make your spouse happy, and if this is returned, the marriage should be happy.
