I focus on living and being the Lord's servant however he chooses to lead me. Personally I think death so little I have no opinion. I am excited at the thought that I might be part of the group that never sees death. As for the rest I trust God.

I have had too many brushes with death over the years. I personally can't wait to be with Jesus.

actually to a born again christian fear of death should be non relavent.A true believer realizes that death is but the begining of eternal paradise in heaven with God.But as usual that old flesh rears it,s head and causes the mind to ponder the unknown. For some years now my fear has been all those souls dying lost, that a real fear.

I love Donna's post concerning this question.

The thought of death should be a SOBERING thought--neither fearful nor elating.

Rather, serious meditation on death--and the judgement--should cause constant self-correction.

the death that you should fear is spiritual, not physical.christ said ,don,t fear what men can do to you for they can only kill you, fear the one who after death has the power to throw your soul into the lake of fire.

Usually death seems distant and abstract. For me, it was anticipation of seeing Jesus and loved ones. But, when I thought that death might easily come within months,I had moments of fear. What I feared was the final loss of EVERYTHING familiar. Where I would be going, so much was totally UNKNOWN. Jesus finally assured me that HE would be with me and I could relax because I knew HIM.

When you are young and healthy, don't be too quick to boast that you will be fearless in the face of death.

When I was a RCC, till aged 15, I lived in constant fear of death and hell. At the time, there was no assurance of heaven, unless you paid your way out of hell, or purgatory, or someone did when you died.
The 1st thing I realised when I was Born Again, death has no sting for me. I will meet the Judge and my sins have been paid for.
I don't desire death, or at least not to often, but it is no longer scary.

No, not my death, it's the death of my love one's that make me afraid/sad, only because I will miss them.
